Actually really liked what I have seen of the WWF Ladies division from the 80s.

Kidman always seemed underrated to me. Had some great matches in WCW, and played a strong heel in WWE.

Leilani Kai and Wendi Richter? PFFFFFFFFFFFFT 8D They were shit, and their work made Kelly Kelly look like Steamboat.

Kidman beating Hogan, only proved that just because you give someone a major win, they won't get over.

Holy shit Keith how did you like any women's match in the 80s? Richter, Moolah, Leilani, McIntyre, they were all terrible. The Jumping Bomb Angels were fun to watch for their short run but the Glamour Girls sucked so they had no competition. Cyndi Lauper was the best woman of the 80s.

Also, Kidman was really fun to watch, but I think he did about all he could do. He was never really going to be more than what WCW booked him because he didn't have the star qualities of a Jericho or anything. And his feud with Hogan sucked but I don't really hold that against him.

You are both totally wrong on the Ladies from the 80's thing. Watch the Survivorseries 87 elimination match and tell me that isn't awesome? Chris to me the Glamour girls were classic old school comedy heels, the gimmick was supposed to be naff. Also I really rated Leilani's matches.

I never mentioned anything about the Kidman-Hogan feud. And all I said was that he was underrated not that he should have been a main eventer. Talk about a over reaction:pipe:

We were just replying to what you said to continue the conversation, not overreacting. And the Women's elimination match was only fun because of the Bomb Angles, the rest of it was pretty bad.

Compare WWF's womens wrestling to say........G.L.O.W.....there is nothing WWF had that was even remotely close to being good. GLOW was cheesy as fuck, but atleast their women were hot and could pull of decent stuff.

WWF stuff back then was horrible, I can't think of ONE match where it didn't make it look like Earthquake and Typhoon were better athletes.

Jumping Bomb Angels did have this one spot I always thought was cool and that was one them bridging and standing right out of pins.

I just think you are not taking into account the slower 80's style of the time. The likes of Sherri Martel and Leilani Kai had great personality for me. The Jumping Bomb Angels were like the Rock 'N' Roll Express or Rockers of the ladies division.

Rock and Roll Express had the Midnight Express and Fantastics, Rockers had The Hart Foundation and Killer Bees to bring in a faster pace style and make it all look great.

Jumping Bomb Angels had nothing to work with, which is most likely the reason why they never stuck around.
