You can't tell fans that MITB is being cashed in 3 times and then not do that all 3 times. That makes the fans feel disrespected.
You can't have Brock literally pummel Rollins, only to inexplicably say "Friday". Is it canon that the Saudis are giving Brock bags of money to show up there? Just makes Brock seem like a moron.
You can't have Rollins humiliated, only to be shown mercy and just taken to hospital to stretcher with the commentators using that horrendous 'Owen voice' to put it over. Rollins looked like such a dork, and that hurts his momentum regardless of if he's still champ after the Saudi show or not.
It's actually impressive how sloppy WWE have been in every aspect about this.

Brock Lesnar cashes in during the Triple Threat. Rollins and Lesnar have a tussle and Baron Corbin somehow gets a roll up on Rollins to win the title. Best finish ever.
There is no triple threat at the event. You probably mean Brock cashes in and then it becomes a triple threat, like at WM31?
