Everyone takes the easier rout now since computers do 70% of the work. Back then it was maybe 20%

Yeah everyone takes the easy route instead of the hard route. I mean now in days they either try to cheat, hack or learn how to abuse the system on PS3 and 360. Back then you didn't need to cheat to win. There really weren't that many levels or puzzles.

Games were more challenging back then too. Even though it was basic moves and mostly side scrolls, they made you work for it.

There most just challenging back then, but they were more fun. Most families didn't have computers back then. Example Sonic from Genesis. That games was challenging, but fun. You didn't need a cheat to beat that game or look up info on the computer. They had the TIP hotline in the back of the manual, which in my mind was useful cause I didn't need it, but it was fun to always double check on whatever you were stuck on.

As much as I use it and enjoy it... The internet ruined a lot of things for kids these days. Think of wrestling... There was more of an aw to them and a mystery. Now you can look up their real names, see masked wrestlers unmasked and so on.

And that is why things died down and have taken a turn to the boring worst and lazy way out of it.
