I love They Live, although I'm not sure I'd consider it a horror movie in the strictest sense. Still gets my vote mind you, as I was never a fan of 30 Days.

I did say it could be a horror-comedy or thriller so it definitely counts in the genre. I know I was scared shitless the first time I saw it. It also gets my vote, I found 30 Days of Night completely overrated when it came out.

I never got the 30 Days of Night love. The vampires were cool and scary looking, but they never capitalized on any of that and I found it just surprisingly dull, boring and with no suspense or tension even though they had really bad ass looking vampires. So They Live wins.

Plus They Live has one of the greatest lines in cinema.
