"they" has been revealed it is Bischoff, Hogan, Jarrett, Abyss, and your New World Champion Jeff Hardy. Not sure anyone saw that coming as far as the Hardy part. Thoughts?

No I didn't see the Hardy bit coming, but the thing is the guy can't play a heel and I don't think the fans will except as one.

As for the rest, what a suprise TNA had a chance to push some fresh talent in a big storyline, and they just went with the old timers, and the people who have already been shoved down the publics throats. Another death nail in the TNA coffin.

It was not what I was expecting. I had hoped it was some new talent to debut in TNA, possibly some stars from AAA who TNA have a working agreement with or some ROH stars that were recently let go. Or I had wanted it to be some undercard talents who could really use this push.

It is such a waste having it be the old guys it ruins the whole stable for me. I want to see less of them on television yet now we are going to see even more of them.

Basically it is Hogan and Bishoff's egos running a muck again. And the thing about the Jeff Hardy side of things, is that is classic Russio booking. He does things to shock people not because they make sense and can lead to something more intresting later on.

Yeah Hardy doesn't work as all as a heel, people want to cheer for him because of the way he wrestles and because of who he is. Angle or Anderson would have been much better choices ahead of Hardy. Like you said it was a bigger shock having Hardy turn heel but it doesn't make any sense or help the storyline.

Hogan is a cripple, Bischoff is the mouthpiece and then you have Abyss who I had assumed would be leading everything. Jarrett who is much better as a heel but seriously he should stay behind the scenes. Then finally Hardy who can't play a heel. It isn't the making of a great group.

And don't forget the reason no one really believed Hardy would win the title is that he may end up banged up before long, it dethines belieaf that TNA would put their top belt on a man who may not be there in the long term.

They must be confident that he won't be sent to jail. I wouldn't take the risk especially when they could have had Angle or Anderson win the title.

The new name for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, Abyss and Jeff Jarrett’s group is Immortals. On last night’s iMPACT, Hogan’s Immortals joined up with Ric Flair’s Fortune to go against Dixie Carter. The main storyline now is that Dixie Carter unknowingly signed over control of TNA to Bischoff and Hogan.

I don't mind the name Immortals, I actually think that it is quite good. I had thought that it was going to be Abyss' group, and not Hogan's, since he brought them in. Looks like Bischoff and Hogan are trying to recreate an NWO style gimmick here with them getting "control" over the company.

Believe it isn't the name of the group that stinks about this whole thing!

As someone different to Angle, Anderson would have been worth a run with the title. I am not 100% convinced of his skills as a headliner, but he has been there longer then Hardy and with TNA having little other good headling options Anderson has done enough to be given a go.

Anderson is a natural heel as well so he would work well as part of a heel group. Jeff is a fan favourite and sucked as a heel previously and Angle has played heel very well before but has the whole different angle going on with his retirement storyline. Anderson has done well in TNA since debuting there and would have been a much better choice than Hardy.
