Regarding CZW not having straight wrestling. CM Punk, Chris Hero, Mike Quackenbush, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kevin Steen, El Generico, Roderick Strong, Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt and Claudio Castagnoli have all competed in CZW. Plus their Best of the Best Tournament used to attract good wrestlers and the final of BOTB 5 with Steen, Super Dragon, B Boy, and Quackenbush is awesome.

The main difference between CZW and Big Japan Pro Wrestling/FMW is in Japan they actually build up to the major spots so it's alot like a horror movie (we all know that the anticipation of what's gonna happen is usually better than what actually happens).

Deathmatch in Japan has been around before ECW showed up (or around the same time, i'm not sure) but some of it can be ok for some of the outlandish stuff they do. You might only watch a razorblade on a board match once, but it sure as hell is intriguing to watch.

This isn't wrestling, its as simple as that. I've never liked these deathmatch "OMGWTFBBQ BLOOOD HARDCOOOREEE VIOLENCEEEEEEE HAHAAHLASDHF" type matches, and I never will.

Same here, I man I admire a person cutting themselves and putting their lives on the line to entertain us fans but at times some people take it a bit to far... And this... Is a bit to far.

This stuff is from Big Japan Pro Wrestling. I like their stuff but I watch it in small doses. Once every few months for me. You shouldn't bash them simply by what you see in those pictures. I guarantee you the matches get even wackier, but for the most part, they do hardcore right. The light tubes aren't as hard as you might think and is way safer then 70% of the garbage I've seen from CZW.

Actually watch some stuff from Big Japan. You'll be impressed. There is good quality wrestling in there mixed in with a lot of hardcore.

CZW.. Not so much.

I do wish these hardcore wrestlers would just stick to normal wrestling though. Simply for their own health. As entertaining as BJPW (everytime I see that, I think blow job pro wrestling lmao) is, I still cringe at some of the things they put their bodies through. The scars on their bodies are really gross sometimes.
