Oh yeah when Dean held the US Title for almost a year and defended it like twice.
He's like the longest running US Champion in WWE history isn't he? :lmao

Yes sir.

And going back to the original point, I'm pretty sure deans title had everything to do with them not enacting the freebird rule. He defended his US title while the other two defended the tag titles. Simple.

There were like 20 more times tag title matches than US title defenses durin' that time period. I don't think Dean holdin' the US title had any significance to most of the Shield's feuds.

I'm not going to list every stable that held a tag title and didn't evoke the Freebird Rule. There are many.

Holding a tag title and a singles title is quite frequent as well.

Did evolution use the freebird rule? No because the other members were champs.

They all won their belts on the same night and as the quote you literally just quoted, you can hold two belts at once.

It's been done multiple times. Let's not fight over something so asinine.

Do you really wanna compare Orton's IC title reign to Ambrose's US title reign?

It wasn't holding two belts at once. I'm merely arguing that teams who didn't use the freebird rule was because the other member or members had titles. If the stables were only tag champs, the freebird rule could be used.

Please find the source on WWE.COM that explicitly states that.

no he just won't defend it if we go on past history.
So we just pick and choose when Superstars can hold two titles at once? :lmao

Nexus, Nexus again, Corre, New Nexus, RTC, Dudley Boyz, Un-Americans (no reason these guys didn't), La Résistance, etc...
