So this I learned today and is kind of funny, but during the Diadochi period between Alex the Horse Boy's death and the first Punic War, Benevento in Southern Italy was originally named Maleventum ("Place of Bad Events"). It was only after the Phyrric War in 275 BCE that Rome itself changed its name to Beneventum ("Place of Good Events").

Additionally Beneventum can also be translated as "Good Wind", and Maleventum as "Bad Wind".
