Don’t know how either of you didn’t mention Austin. Took his ball and went home due to not wanting to lose to Brock, and refused to have a huge money making match with Hogan.
Austin shouldn’t have taken his ball and went home the way he did, but he didn’t do it because he didn’t wanna lose, he did it because Brock vs Austin seemed like a much bigger match and not just a Raw match. He completely disagreed with how they went about it and he left.

Triple H. Hunter always feuded with the guy who drew money: Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker. He was always an average wrestler who married into power and wealth to become a 13-time WWE World Champion.
While I can agree that triple h did marry into wealth and power and that did get him top spots, to act as if he wasn’t popular, one of the best heels of all the time, damn good at promos, and wrestling is absurd. Triple h is still the kind of guy who can put on a damn clinic of a feud and I think it’s crazy to say that how good he actually is had nothing to do with his success....

Jim Ross has even said that even though Stone Cold and him were best friends, he was still extremely difficult to work with. One of the most difficult out of anybody.
