Anna Fox (Amy Adams) feels safest when she’s watching the world from behind her window. Until the Russell family moves in across the street, and she witnesses something unimaginable. The question is...what really happened?

Anything with Amy Adams I'll watch and this looks like a good one with a very good twist at the end.

Plot sounds like Rear Window. Great movie, hopefully they steal all the good parts.

Rear Window plus Amy Adams is usually good, so I'll give it a watch.

Another Rear Window 'knock-off' I enjoyed was Disturbia with Shia LaBeouf lol

I finally got around to watching this on Netflix. I'm a little torn about it, it had some deent tension and Amy Adams does a good job displaying agoraphobia on-screen. Like with a lot of movies that come on Netflix, it felt like something was missing to take it to that next level. It captures a nice 90's thriller type vibe but it's certainly no Rear Window which people were drawing a lot of comparisons from during the trailers.

I would say it's a decent thriller, but it should have been a lot better with the cast and premise they had at their disposal. Julianne Moore was good and plays quite an interesting character. There's at least enough things going on overall to keep your attention. You want to find out the true nature of some of the characters and see what happens next. Like there's nothing bad about the movie but it's certainly not winning any awards or breaking new ground. I'd say watch it on a rainy night if you can't think of much else. It grabbed me decently well and I think the cast helped to carry me to the end.

Middle of the road movie for me, I'd give it a 5/10.
