To add more to that match, it happened at their hug show in the Budoken, and story behind it is that Shinzaki died during his match with The Great Muta, and Undertaker being seen as a reaper-esque person or even Death God, gives Shinzaki one last chance to fight for his life and soul. Shinzaki's entrance in this match was being carried to the ring in a coffin by a group of monks dressed in all black.

It is, and after this Shinzaki would become known as a certain type of Yokai/Monster. If you watched the Final Bye-Bue Muta show you will see it espeiclaly in the eyes.
