But we still should show this Legend respect and not want somebody to cause an injury to him. This man is the most technical big man in wrestling, has the most wins in WrestleMania history, and gave us so many classic matches. All you had to do is say "he needs to retire", not no injury statement . Other than that if we have nothing good to say about him we may as well keep it to ourselves
Lol chill, it was a joke about me saying he should get injured. That's why I even put Seth Rollins should do it cuz the whole Sting thing.
But I get Taker is a "legend" and all but he is waaaay past his prime and more than often looks terrible in the ring. Yeah it's kind of impressive that he is still able to move around like he does at his age, but that still doesn't mean it's good. Plus, Taker is not around enough to build feuds and make the match mean something.
Taker is not a great wrestler anymore, physically. But he still has the ability to use his ring psychology to pull off a match. But that psychology doesnt mean shit when his feuds dont have much of a back story to it becuz he will pop up a few weeks before a PPV, cut the same dark dialouge promos with his supernatural theatrics, and then fumble his way through a match. The last good feud and match he has was against Brock that ended at Hell in a Cell in 2015. But that feud had an extensive storyline- from Brock breaking the streak at WM30 to Taker costing Brock the title against Rollins at Battleground to the controversial finishes at Summerslam and then culminating to their final match inside Hell in a Cell, which has a fantastic match because it felt like his whole legacy was on the line and he needed that win for redemption.
Taker is too old and beat up to maintain the kind of schedule he would need to properly build a feud. Hes a part timer, with no title, so his matches are pointless, slow, boring, and honestly sometimes just sad to watch. Taker should stay on just doing house shows because it makes more sense because there doesnt need to be a storyline. It also makes that house show feel special since the legend, The Undertaker, is on the card. It also gives other wrestlers a chance to have a match with him and get a chance to learn from him, as well as gain his respect
