To say Punk was half assing it at 29, you'd obviously have to have a bias. Which I know Deezy does. I don't give Punk credit for carrying Taker either though. Taker still had his moments all the way up to 2016 at least. Both guys brought it. They used a tried and true formula, and each man played their role very well. Veteran Taker is one of the best at selling for his opponents and fighting from the bottom. 2013 Punk was doing some damn fine heel work, instigating the crowd throughout, and was still in fine shape to keep the pace of the match up. In the end, it was easily my favorite match at 29.
