Don't know why so many people are discussing him wrestling. I see this as a way to get him in the HOF, create a new DVD and start hawking his merchandise again. Good way for both side to make good money and money heals all wounds. It fills another gap in the HOF a year after they sorted out the Bruno situation. It would be fun to hear his music hit again and see him run out but I don't want to see him in the ring wrestling again.

This. He would add nothing to the current product and is unlikely to be in decent working shape in any case.

I had zero interest in seeing him wrestle in WCW years ago so I damn sure don't want to see him wrestle now in 2013. HOF spot and things of that nature is as far as it should go.

Can't work worse than Bret. He would have made a good Ryback opponent if Goldberg wasnt doable

Yeah as soon as I heard about this, the HOF was the only thing that came to mind as a possibility. I really don't see him coming back to do much of anything else, not even a Brock Lesnar-ish part-time gig. He doesn't draw anymore, come on. A Royal Rumble appearance would be fine though, I wouldn't have any hang ups about that.

But yeah, that match against Orlando Jordan was pretty awful. Then again, Orlando Jordan isn't exactly a talent to write home about either. But aside from his feud against Savage, Warrior has never really had any spectacular matches in his entire career. His schtick worked in the 80's when that sort of thing wasn't as much of a big deal in the WWE, but people these days like to see good wrestling. Warrior just isn't compatible for this era.

While outside of that Rumble appearance I mentioned for the fan pop and to remind young fans who the guy was, I agree with you, But look at the WWE 2k14 Trailer. The guy's always always kept himself in great shape, but in his career he never had an stamina. He'd gas in 5 minutes with his gimmick.

Warrior being in good cosmetic shape would work for him. And WWE don't test legends contracted guys for one-off appearances like a Rumble.

I'm just feel the same way I do about Goldberg with Warrior his appeal lasted a limited amount of time and unless you're a maga star like Hogan or Lesnar or someone with enough talent to have stand out matches with a younger guy I don't see the point.

Lesnar? His wrestling time wasn't anywhere near Warriors or Goldbergs for that matter, and they are simply wanting a Rumble appearance, not for him to go on the road. Warriors music alone would make the whole building shake.
