This dude has what is basically a tank on steroids that's shaped like a turtle, drops down on a moment's notice, and sends hooks into the ground to keep it anchored which can even pierce concrete.

And this is him inside a fucking F4 tornado.

He was on the Storm Chasers tv show on Discovery Channel for a few years. In it he was working with some scientists to get him inside a tornado to get footage for an IMAX film that he was shooting. Was a really good show, especially early on before Discovery did what they always do and make it into a drama about the people involved rather than focussing on the tornadoes and the science behind it all. There is another team from the show that have a simiar vehicle called the Dominator.
