That's right, it's time once and for all to settle the Ultimate Showdown

A showdown between two men who shall always be compared, two men who have almost paralelled each other, and have put on probably the greatest feud ever made imo.

The Great One VS The Rattlesnake, Stone Cold VS The Brahma Bull, Steve Austin VS The Rock

Who is better? The Rock or Stone Cold?

For me, it's The Rock. He is the ultimate package in professional wrestling, he's got the talent, the charisma, the drawing ability, the marketability and the greatest promos ever done.

Pick your poison, who should be the winner of the ultimate showdown, Stone Cold or The Rock?

I would probably agree with you HBK. I think The Rock would be the winner of the overall Ultimate Showdown. He has more drawing ability with his very alluring personality and charisma. He is not limited like Austin is physically. Austin has very bad knees and Rock was never limited really with stuff like that. He has great promos as heel and face and just overall Rock pwns lol.

: pffffff : Rock, Austin.... Austin, Rock... AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... Let it go already!!!!! :semi-serious:

My preference: Austin.

I enjoyed Austin in the ring so much more (apart from @ WM19 when Rock put on SCSAs waistcoat and was acting like him n' everythin'... Still makes me chuckle!)... Mainly cos Rock's fight-backs were all a little too Hogan for my taste (even if he was prepared to take a clean 3 count from time to time.).

It's a tie. Austin was on top for less than 2 years. I wonder if anyone really knows that. His heydey was 1998 and 1999. I'm talking about his big drawing power. Ditto for the Rock. 2000-01. He was around too sparsely after that.

If we go by mic skills then it's The Rock 8 days a week! Austin created the what chant and I can't forgive him for that.

its impossible for me to pick between the two. both were just excellent on the mic and they had the world watching because you never knew what they were gonna do next. they are equals in my book.
