Fuck AJ Lee.. She was cancer to the divas division back then.. The best thing they did was get rid of her.. She did nothing to benefit that division.. When she quit that was the best thing to happen to wrestling in a long time.
I think the only reason a bunch of people liked her and said she was as great as she was is because they really didn't have many good female wrestlers. She would be a casual jobber with the women they have now. I never understood the appeal in her at all.

I would say her borderline personality disorder was a hit back then. I think It was unusual and made people want to love her as a heel. I thought she played the admirable psycho well and I would say that as a diva, she was fearless in her own way. She was a good speaker as well, posessing the same kind of fiesty, rebellious spirit as CM Punk. I see why she married him very clearly. They both have similar passions and both can channel their hatred well.

I'm pretty sure the WWE writing put a spoke in her wheel, fearing she'd rain an acid storm on the company that it couldn't deal with, so they quickly subsidized her for the more popular divas, who could be moulded more easily and had the prestige of being hooked up with either top guys or people with influence.

Now, I'd like to make a subtitled video of the pipebomb on youtube to add the ambiance of the fallout from the promo. My youtube account is up and running, I've gotten much of what the Bellas were yelling, but parts of Nikki's verbal assault remains unclear to me. I'm no lipreader and some of her words are obscured by either background noise or her sister. Can you please help me fill in the blanks of Nikki's dialogue and any other missing pieces of the puzzle?

Say it to my face? Must be Alex Riley fans

Even the man with 3 H's would be proud with the way Cena buried such promising young talent

I don't know if its true but i'm sure i read there was supposed to be more followup from the pipebomb but the Bellas are alleged to have gone to management and complained hence why it suddenly became the "AJ jobs to useless bimbos on a weekly basis" show. A shame as there could have been great followup

What kind of pull could they have had? Unless they did this out of spite because she was dating CM Punk. I could see that.

That could be one reason. Another could be that since they were on Total Divas, the Bellas were afraid that AJ might have had the power to derail them by getting people on her side and discrediting the show. It might have happened, as AJ made further disparaging commentary in the following week about the stars of Total Divas and she wasn't punished for it. Hence, the company had to shoot the bird down before it could fly, so to speak. I'm guessing the Bellas managed to convince John Lauranaitis to take action against AJ if the writers developed the idea further. It just so happened they managed to pull the right strings the right way.

I think the company did at the time value women who were on the show more than those who didn't want to do it. All about the money I guess.

I'd guess you're right. Total Divas casted the stars in a kind of light that better promoted the WWE. If you saw Total Divas, the chances were you'd want to see them in action at WWE. Wherever you see them is good because then you pay the company extra to see them, as I do with WWE Network.

I'm going to create a copy of the Pipe Bomb with subtitles soon. I just want to make sure I capture as many of the barbs hurled at AJ the best I can. Please help me out with the last of them.

Like, Nikki says 'we're standing right here,' I got that part but then it sounds like she says 'mommy and daddy.' Did I hear that correctly?

I personally found the reactions of the Funkadactals and Natalya puzzling. Ariane and Naomi were visibly pissed off and Natalya was clearly upset, but they remained silent throughout the pipebomb's explosion. At one point either Ariane or Naomi pushed Natalya towards the ropes. Could someone here please explain why these three used more body language to react in this situation?

While I never found the appeal of her in ring performance, I can definitely understand the general appeal haha
