I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I have absolutely no idea why this Title was created. Is it just a gimmick like the Drinking Championship from earlier this year? Or is it an actual serious title? It looks like its going to be treated as an actual championship since the belt looks pretty awesome, but if it is, then why isn't it on TNAWrestling.com's roster page yet? Also, why the hell is it called a "Legends" Championship? Is this a title only for veterans? Or is it a mid-card championship? Could this be a rehash of the Million Dollar Championship?

As you can see, I'm confused. And I would like answers from you great IWF'ians.

I have no idea tbh. Its kinda stupid if its only for Legends or older wrestlers though because that means the Joe and the young guys will be going for the World title without beating every one else on the roster because Booker and the other older guys won't be able to go for it because they will be stuck with the legends title. I am about as clueless as you Chess.

I think it's Booker T's belt. He'll keep defending it and he'll keep wining. If it wasn't Booker's then why would HE introduce it, why not Foley, Cornette or anyone else in TNA.

It's also [I imagine] to go along with the Main Event Mafia faction.

It's a ripoff of the Million Dollar Championship. Rather simple.

Booker will dfend it when he says so. It's not a recognised championship, it's just an attempt at more heel heat.

It's a gimmick. It's red to kind of match Booker T's outfit, I think it will only be used while the MEM is around.

No, you're not in the minority here, even I don't have any idea why this Championship was created. It looks to me more of a gimmick instead of an actual Championship. There are several reasons for that; one of them being that this title has no prestige in TNA.

But then again, lets not underestimate TNA. I guess we should wait and watch how they use this Championship on Television, they can pull off some innovative storylines if they use it the "proper" way.

I don't get the point of the title at all. It adds nothing to the MEM/New Gen feud if you ask me and it brings down the prestige of the TNA title too now there is another ME class title and all it really is doing is making Booker champ.

I think the feud would be equally as good/bad without the Legends Title in the mix and I seriosuly can't find a half-decent reason to have the title, even if it is only around for the duration of the feud and if it sticks around after, I think it will make future feuds even worse because it will just be another old title feud instead of serious, hatred feuds.

Bad move from TNA imo.

My guess is that it is just a prop for Booker T. What I expect to happen is for Cage to beat Booker T at the next PPV for the belt, but Booker explains how it is actually his own belt, not that of the company, so he will remain Legend's Champion.
