Why though? The Street Profits were reigning as Raw Champions, then they gave them up and are now reigning as Smackdown Champions. Seem like it should be 2 reigns to me.

I mean it's a bogus way to "win" a championship but it's not the first or last time someone is getting a reign without actually winning a match to begin it.

They swapped whole ass belts bro. They were Raw Tag Team Champions, now they're Smackdown Tag Team Champions (and the opposite for New Day). In what conceivable way is that not two reigns? Whether they were won in a match or not is kind of irrelevant, because there have been multiple cases on someone being rewarded a title without wrestling for it. I suppose it could be perceived as trickier in this case because they literally swapped the titles but I think you just have to look past that and just break it down into the fact that they had a reign as the Raw Champs and now they're the SD Champs. This is definitely subjective, but I do think it's more straightforward just saying The Profits and New Day surrendered their old titles/reigns and were rewarded the new ones, rather than saying the Raw Tag Team Championship was the Smackdown Tag Team Championship until the current champions were drafted to Raw... and they could become the Raw titles again at any point that happens to occur again. Idk. That makes sense to me, but really, at the end of the day, this is hardly the most fuckeriest shit WWE has ever done.
