The storyline that keeps getting put off...

Over the years, we've seen hints at possible Orton/Batista feuds... It always gave tiny hints, but for some reason, someone always got either injured, suspended, got in another feud, or something, but this past month, it looked like something would happen between the two...
Sure, they had a small feud when orton was kicked out of Evolution, but it was more Orton/HHH and Orton was the face.
IMO, this would be an awesome feud, not just because they are huge stars, but also because of the history between the two over the years.
So clearly, this cant happen right now, but it looked like it might have, and it still might when Orton comes back.

-What do you think wwe had planned for these two? A feud? A stable together? Or nothing (just another tease?)

At one point this was a big money feud.

Orton vs Batista was penciled in as the main event at Wrestlemania 22, with Orton ending Batista's year ling reign. Then Eddie died and Batista got hurt and forfeited the title so plans changed.

The fued would have been huge at this point because Evolution was fresh in people's mind and Batista was super over.

It can still be a decent feud. Batista always works hard when he is put into a fued with an opponent he respects and by all accounts he is good friends with Orton.

That being said, I think Orton vs Batista will be one of the main events at Wrestlemania 25. I would imagine Cena and HHH will be going after the WWE title, so Orton vs Batista could be for the World title.

Its still too early to tell though. We know HBK will get a bigtime match because Mania will be in his home state. Its also quite possible that a big time superstar like Hogan could work a match too because its the 25th Mania.

No dude, Eddie vs. Orton was penciled in as WM22 Main Event, that's after Batista got hurt. It was probably Orton vs. Batista before that, I didn't know that. I would have loved to see any of those instead of that gay ass 3 way. Orton vs. Batista would be ok, but I don't think they can do anything special considering Batista's wrestling ability.

1, I think that they either would have had Batista and Orton had a little fued then something would have happened and they would have joined forces or thy would have had a stable then turned on each other thus causing a huge fued...

2, I would really like to see this as a fued, Randy Orton is my favourite heel in WWE atm, and Batista, well I don't really like him but he is a popular superstar who is alright sometimes...

3, I would like to see them in a fued but I am a huge fan of the whole stables thing, having thse guys make their own faction later down the track after being brought up in a stabe would be great. It also gives the young talented guys huge pushes (as batista and Orton found out for themselves) and it creates awesome fueds with other superstars and when the stable breaks up it makes great fueds also...

Vince should make a fued or a stable with the two, either way it will be great!

1-I'd like to think a stable. With the talk of this next generation stable, and the last true heel stable before LA Familia was Evolution, I think it would be great. I was always a fan of stables like that.

2-It is a feud I'd like to see, but I'd prefer a stable

A feud, but it must be saved for WM next year. They shouldn't blow it at Survivor Seres or somewhere like that.

As long as it wasn't Batista destroying Orton, then yes.

Feud, because I can't see Batsita as the main guy in a heel stable. He doesn't have the mic skills to turn heel properly.
