I have, really didn't think I would enjoy Deftones - White Pony as much as I did, but it's an amazing feat of musical expertise. :)

Album Listen #88: I don't dislike Adele - although I do prefer similar female artist more in terms of her voice as a whole. There are some good songs on the album - but at times to my ears they blend a bit too much to me especially the non-single songs on the album. Did listen to the whole album though - so I call that dedication and perhaps an Xbox Achievement?

Album Listen #89: I have a feeling this album is going to make good kitchen chores, whilst feeling as sick a dog so much better. I love the vibe of this album - although the occasional song the guitar moves from funky to almost industrial sounding (technical term lacking). Hendrix is awesome in this album - and I won't repeat the potentials benefits like I did in the last album. This is a funky album to listen though - and it does the job in instantly becoming one's primary focus.

Album Listen #90: I really enjoyed this - and I will be exploring their other work. Don't think I've heard any of their stuff before.

Album Listen #91: I didn't understand this album - I think it was too dreary for me.

Album Listen #92: Never heard of these guys before - my Mum told me that they might have fallen through the cracks during a morning tea. I enjoyed this album - it was very funky and experimental and I did enjoy some of the songs.

Album Listen #93: Quite enjoyed this album - although listen to an entire rap album at times is quite often a challenge for me. Even when I listen to UK Grime - i prefer a playlist then just album. For what it was though, I thought it was good.

Album Listen #94: I've always had mixed feelings about Outkast - but honestly this album is a bit of a game changer for me. This is the sound that I can imagine helped establish them into a global name and was honestly a great album to listen too.

Deftones_-_White_Pony-greycoverart.jpg

Album Listen #95: Deftones is a band name I always here dropped - but I never know what music to connect it to. So this will be interesting. Metal - but like an alternative version of it. I don't actually mind this, although at times it feels a bit disturbing to the soul (if that makes any sense).

Album Listen #96: Never heard of this band - but this album was soft and rocky at the same time. I actually really enjoyed the whole piece as a whole and I don't know why but it reminded me of REM in all the good ways as well as a little bit of Athlete. I would pencil it as an excellent album - that really grew on me from the first song where I was thinking what on earth am I about to listen to LOL.

You should listen to all of their ‘90s stuff, it’s fucking great. I think they got a weird reputation after Hey Ya came out (still a great song) but their stuff before that is their best stuff

Album Listen #97: Heard a few songs - but never this album. It being a third round pick - I am guessing it must be something big I just looked past. This album was another impressive put together. I enjoy that some of the songs are almost cut into two different songs - but at the same time are very clearly the same song. A few of songs I didn't really care for, but it was a good listening experience.

100% correct. Every one of their albums together is gold. Hey Ya in the grand scheme of things was just something Andre 3000 wanted to experiment with and kind of go with the theme of the double album they did. But the two albums before Aquemini are incredible as well. But Aquemini is personal to me cause it's an album two of my best friends that I met in high school, and still have as friends showed me to get me into rap they were in to. They moved from the Atlanta area and actually went to the rival school that Andre and Big Boi attended when they were in school.
