Album Listen #12: This album is a vibe - there is just something about the way it is put together that helps me reach a state of tranquility. Just the feel it gives out is on another level and makes it something you can just listen to again and again - and I understand why some people hold the view that its the best Beatles album. Just short of a perfect ten though - but it sets a high bar for not only itself, but a lot of the other albums in this draft. ​

I won't share the numbered rating (what's the fun in that!) but with a few songs remaining I've got my first review done. Final verdict is I like Taylor Swift, I appreciate what she went for here as well, but it didn't quite hit the notes I was hoping for. While this album was not for me, it was technically decent and a bold effort to step out of the two genres she is most famous for. Mixed results ensued but I do think mileage may vary depending on your musical tastes, as the new styles she experiments with are not ones I personally enjoy on a regular basis.

For my last pick I’m going with Post Malone. I love this guys music. It’s such a vibe imo. Many times I blast this shit in the car either alone or with my friends and sing along. His music hits me in the soul. So that’s it for me. 12 albums. Enjoy
