Becky is kinda working as a face with an edge... Becky needed a character change, she was boring as fuck before.. now she's an angry babyface with a chip on her shoulder. It's perfect.
Eh, it is just an Attitude Era Face/Tweener/Anti-Hero type thing, which is fine. What I was getting at is that Becky should be defined as a face whether Anti-Hero or what have you and Charlotte should be the obvious heel. If it didn't come across that way, I do apologize.
Yeah Charlotte should definitely be a heel. She has such an unlikable personality and an arrogance about her that works better as a heel... I never understood Becky's popularity before the character change, she never really did anything.. but this is a breath of fresh air for her..
Hopefully creative doesn't butcher this feud.
I agree with all you said, but also she is Ric's daughter. I mean, how do you not use her as a heel for she was meant to be one and we is better at heel because well once again Ric. I know, I may have beaten that horse to death and then some, but that just really irritates me. As far as Becky's popularity there are three routes. The first route, her looks and nothing else, the second route, they enjoyed what they say in NXT and see/saw her as the dark horse, and the third are people who watched her in the Indy scene before she went to WWE. I, myself, is on the third route.

The third seems more likely..I don't see nothing special about her look, and NXT, Bayley and Sasha are proof their NXT run will eventually be forgotten with fans..while these indy darlings will always remain over.. like Finn Balor.
Eh, that is because WWE has done everything to make people forget about Sasha, Bayley, Becky, and even Charlotte's run in NXT, but I never forget. I actually doubt many saw her in the Indies. Also, "Indy Darlings", which is a dumb name, remain over because people know that they can do better or know what they can do whether it is Finn, Joe, AJ, Shinsuke, Asuka, Bayley, Sasha, Adam Cole, etc. Plus, they tend to have more experience and when they get over it feels deserved due to the time they put in the Indies, Japan, Mexico, and where ever else compared to people like Roman, Braun, Alexa, Nia, Ronda, and whoever else feels given and not earned because they didn't put in a lot of the work compared to others or they are doing it for a paycheck. I will be honest, I do have bias and believe WWE pushes people who went through them and not push the ones who were/are over and are grassroots, which I hate, but that is a rant neither nor there as I would just be called an Indy Smark or something else on that line.
Although Becky's Heel turn didn't work exactly how WWE expected, they still made her one of the most over and must-see superstars. They have to capitalize on this success right now and put the belt on Becky. Keep the storyline going not as a Heel vs Face storyline but two former best friends, who both have a right/claim to be where they are now, fighting for everything they wanted.
Personally I hope Becky wins and when she does that pop is going to be one of the most, if not the most, insane women's pops ever.

I agree that the title should be a "hot potato" but this is the storyline that could really get this championship going again. Imagine Becky with the title, her take no shit attitude would be a great fit because anyone who wants a shot would have to get thru the mental game of hers. I would be invested in the title again if they had Becky vs Asuka because I know they would put on a hell of a match.
