only if they take on another job. independent contractors can "walk out" of any contract they want, they just cant work elsewhere as per that agreement unless the employer agrees to also terminate it.

that being said, good luck trying to stop someone from doing something non wrestling related and having that hold up in court. showing up in aew while still on contract? no . taking on acting gigs idependantly? they may have a hard time stopping that because I don't think you can legally stop someone from working. not to mention the PR nightmare.

on a side note, she's not Mustafa Ali. If she asks for her release publicly, for example, that shit gonna get messy

yes and AEW would never do that either, as that makes them look bad as well. because then it makes his own contracts meaningless and where does it stop after that.
