There was a time he could have been a main eventer. Hell I still don't see why they gave him that 3 on 1 comeback versus the Authority (my fav ever 5 vs 5 Survivor Series match) if you had no intention to push him

He’s not my favorite anymore like he once was, but I still like him, think he can put on good matches, sells his ass off to make others look good, very much a fan. If they ever decided to give him like a thank you pitty run with the WWE Title(they won’t) I would be the markiest mark this place has ever seen.

A thank you run to me is right before you hang up the boots, might not be that over but they strap you for a month or two to say thanks. Now you could probably argue that the NXT title run was that, possibly. Just without the retiring part.
