Women don't go through a bunch of shit (pregnancy isn't easy) just to say 'meh, nevermind, I don't feel like it'. Abortions much later on are because of things like it's been discovered the baby wont live a long life because of whatever reason, stuff like that, not because the mother suddenly doesn't want to be a mother. I am sure there might be a few cases where someone decided to randomly change their mind, but, it's something that barely happens.


People forget that banning abortions doesn't end abortions, it now creates a situation where women are going to be doing the abortions themselves, as opposed to having a place to do it safely, or, travelling to places where it is still legal.

I'm sure a certain side of the political spectrum believes that women get pregnant for the sole purpose of having an abortion at the latest possible moment in order to kill an unborn child...ya know...for fun

as if getting an abortion isn't traumatic....or that carrying a baby inside you for months on end isn't hard f*cking work...

Glad I'm not living in the US any more :)
