I never cared for the Eurovision music contest, but after seeing those disgusting protests in Sweden against the Israeli singer (who has to stay in her hotel room in fear of violence), i'm definitely voting for the first time tonight.

They already destroyed the ESC years ago. It's bullshit to dogpile on Eden Golan, of course, but I also don't know what people expected to happen. Israel's participation this year makes the 2024 ESC even more of a complete farce than the last 3-4 editions.

The unit, known as the General Security Service, relied on a network of Gaza informants, some of whom reported their own neighbors to the police. People landed in security files for attending protests or publicly criticizing Hamas.
