Russia’s Federal Security Service said 40 people died and more than 100 were wounded in an attack Friday at a Moscow concert hall.

The attack, which Russian authorities are investigating as terrorism, is the deadliest in Russia in recent years.

We don't do that here......someone posts a story, two or three of the same guys don't read anything but the headline and just go "fuck conservatives"......and the world news that are posted with extinction level event implications are ignored so we can focus of social values issues.

And they claim this thread isn't an echo chamber, fam. Lol.

The Senate approved a $1.2 trillion spending bill in the wee hours of Saturday morning to prevent a brief partial government shutdown, sending the bill to President Biden to sign into law.

The bill, which passed by a 74-24 vote, funds about three-quarters of the federal government for the next six months, while also raising military pay, eliminating U.S. funding for the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees and bolstering security at the U.S.-Mexico border.

  • Russian President Vladimir Putin has delivered a public adddress, calling the attack a barbaric act of terrorism, and vowing to punish the perpetrators. He also accused Ukraine of preparing a "window" to help the suspects escape. Kyiv has staunchly denied any role in the attack.
  • Russia has arrested 11 people, including all 4 gunmen suspected of carrying out the attack at a crowded concert venue in a Moscow suburb last night, the head of the country's Federal Security Service (FSB) has told President Vladimir Putin.
  • At least 115 people are now known to have been killed as more bodies were found in the rubble, Russia's Investigative Committee said this morning. Men in camouflage broke into the concert hall, opened fire, and set the crowded venue ablaze. The death toll is expected to rise.
  • The terror group ISIS has claimed responsibility but did not provide proof of the claim. U.S. officials confirmed to NBC News that they had been gathering intelligence for months that ISIS could mount a mass casualty attack in Russia, though no final assessment had been made yet about who was responsible. U.S. embassy officials issued a warning earlier this month urging people to stay away from large gatherings.
  • Russia's culture ministry cancelled public events nationwide, and the Moscow metro has boosted security with police patrols, passenger inspections, and a video analytics system scanning for the faces of suspects on the wanted database.
  • The attack was carried with automatic weapons as well as with "a flammable liquid," the Russian Investigative Committee said. Firefighters evacuated people from the basement and roof of the building, according to emergency officials.
  • A popular rock band was scheduled to play what appeared to be a sold-out show at the venue, which has a maximum capacity of more than 9,000 people.

Yea... was as obvious as his "win" in the election, that they'll put this onto the shoulders of Ukraine. Pretty much all bullshit.

ISIS claims responsibility, without any proof, but the assailants were able to escape? Since when do they do that?
The invasion of the Ukraine doesn't go as planned for a long time now and suddenly there is an attack like this in Moscow, which they immediately blame (in parts) on Ukraine?

I also wouldn't be surprised if the whole false flag theory turns out to be (partly) true. The last two years have shown us a lot, so that wouldn't be farfetched either at this point.

UN security council passes resolution calling for ceasefire in Gaza after US abstains

For the first time the UN security council has voted for a call for a ceasefire in Gaza, after the US abstained, rather than using its veto as it has done on previous occasions. Russia and China have also previously vetoed texts.

And the rich continue to get away with misdeeds.

Hush money trial set for April: Meanwhile, in the separate hush money case, a judge said the criminal trial against Trump will begin on April 15 with jury selection. During a hearing Monday, which was attended by Trump, the judge dismissed the former president’s motion to toss out the indictment altogether or delay the trial further. Trump’s attorneys had sought sanctions against the Manhattan District Attorney’s office after more documents of discovery were turned over.

Officials raided Sean Combs‘ Los Angeles home on Monday, a law enforcement source confirmed to Rolling Stone. The investigation is being led by Homeland Security and carried out just four months after the rap mogul’s ex-girlfriend singer Cassie accused Combs of sex trafficking.
