i think rhetoric divides ppl, not politics. politics is every day life, you cant just ignore issues because they are uncomfortable. weaponizing those issues in rhetoric has divided ppl. id go on more reasonings but a lot of them would be aimed at one side and im not really feeling like having that convo now
