Oh man, and this fucking post here. 49 people were murdered in a bar for being gay in Orlando in 2016. Don't you sit there and try to marginalize people's feelings by saying "it's worse elsewhere". No fucking shit it is. It's always worse somewhere else, but people still live in fear. Look at Montreal alone for a city that is notorious for being anti-LGBTQ. Minnesota alone has St. Cloud, Bemidji, and Alexandria that have condensed anti-LGBTQ populations.
