It's why I'm always so weary when people say they want local governments to fund education, I'd hear it out way more if history simply wasn't included tbh but man...the way slavery was glossed over in some of my classes or the apologists teachers I had that still had to talk about it cause of the curriculum.

Was weird that alot of people finally learned about Juneteenth and Black Wall St from the Watchmen tv show.
