It’s actually hilarious how much their runs are entirely tied together and both were ridiculously cut short.

They both debuted in 1996 for the WWF and stopped being a full-time member of the active roster in 2002.
So in all actuality they drew the same then

Nah, Austin only had 1997 and 1998 on Rock, while Rock had late 1998 - 2002 and drew the WWF’s financial peak.

Rock was #1 ratings draw for 4 years peak years, Austin was #1 for only a year and a half while they were mostly losing to WCW until Rock in late 1998

But Austin marks on another hand 'd say that Austin alone kicked off Attitude Era (not nWo, not with dx)
