I just find it interesting that nowadays, for a young talent to be considered getting a succesful push or to not have any "rumors" about management being unhappy with them, they have to have 1 year title reigns and go undefeated the whole way.

Swagger was pushed. We got some fresh blood in the mix and he climbed to a superior echelon. Yeah he got pinned by Rey three times and once by Kofi Kingston before that. I am sure the defeats against Rey are to build their feud and give them a selling point. The defeat against Kofi wasn't even clean.

not to mention, before this supposedly failed title reign, the man was feuding santino Marella.

You forgot that match opener on SD as champ where he lost to Morrison.

Glad Jericho got jewed for this.

This report just screams bullshit. Rey Mysterio is unhappy with WWE yet he signed a contract extension not so long ago with them, and chose not to take his vacation for surgery so that Smackdown didn't hurt as much.

Secondly, they are unhappy with Swagger yet they are keeping him in the main event, which they are after reading the Smackdown Spoilers.

Can't the reason for the title switch can't just be that they wanted to change the dinamic in Friday Nights and wanted a face champion, which we haven't have since Elimination Chamber? Or how about this is their way of starting Swagger vs Rey (you could start bashing creative in this one though)? Or the logic one, they want to strap the rocket on Rey Rey and give him a long ass title reign considering he's a tested draw and they are moving to a new network in a few months?
FUCKING THANK YOU. I can't even believe I was the only one thinking this report is BULLSHIT. Honestly people, Rey won because the WWE felt he deserved the reign and did it for the sake of shock/something new (and it really can't hurt to give Rey Mysterio a reign, it's like giving Cena one), quit being blueberries. Swagger was getting over fine, improved GREATLY, his promos were A+ and ALL of his fucking matches he had with people were good. If you think otherwise, you're obviously blind/deaf. I won't disagree that he was booked pretty shitty, had a large amount of losses racked up, but if you even watched SD weekly, it surprisingly didn't hurt him. He still had good reactions because he was given surprising amount of promo time and used it very well. I was one of his least supporters since it was another obviously rushed reign and WWE applying the exact same formula within 3 months, but this time at the cost of Chris Jericho's deserving title run. But he did everything he could with what he was given and now should just try to expand his character. Really can't believe the amount of Swagger hate in this thread, he's put on consistently well matches and cut consistenly well promos, I'm one of if not the biggest Jericho fan here but not even I am/was this bitter. I mean, if Swagger is this bad, where the fuck does Drew McIntyre rank? TNA?

Oh also, where was this report when Sheamus dropped his title? Was WWE management not happy with him too, so they gave the title back to Cena? Right.
