Womens Money In The Bank Ladder Match:
Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia vs. Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Stephanie Vaquer

After some of the issues on Smackdown, Rhea Ripley wastes no time getting this one started. She gets impatient during the final entrance of the match, Naomi’s, and heads out to ringside to start the fight. Naomi is caught off guard by the unexpected attack, immediately forced to cover up as Rhea goes to town with right hands. Ripley continues to dominate on the ramp, meanwhile inside of the ring, a brawl has broken out between Alexa Bliss and Stephanie Vaquer. As they hockey fight in one corner of the ring, it leaves Giulia and Roxanne to stare each other down. Given their NXT history, this gets a pop from the fans, but instead of fighting, the two women shrug… AND EXIT SEPARATE SIDES OF THE RING… LOOKING TO GET LADDERS INVOLVED EARLY!!!

The brawl between Ripley and Naomi continues on the ramp, as Giulia and Roxanne slide into the ring at the same time. They’re both now armed with ladders, and they measure each other, before turning towards their opponents… GIULIA SMASHES BLISS IN THE FACE WITH THE LADDER!!!

WHILST ROXANNE SMASHES VAQUER IN THE FACE WITH THE LADDER!!!

The velocity of the ladder shots sends the victims rolling outside the ring for a breather. Now Giulia and Roxanne stare each other down again, armed with ladders. Neither are willing to make the first move… WHEN RHEA RUNS THROUGH BOTH OF THEM WITH A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!!!

Having left Naomi down and out on the outside, Ripley quickly picks up Giulia and throws her outside, to lay next to Naomi. The former Women’s Champion wants to focus on Roxanne, as she picks up one of the discarded ladders… RHEA RUNS AT ROXANNE… SMASHING HER RIGHT IN THE JAW WITH THE LADDER!!!

A big cheer comes from the fans for the use of the ladder, as Roxanne drops to the canvas. Rhea isn’t finished with using the ladder though, now placing the ladder on top of the prone body of Roxanne. Rhea bounces off the ropes and leaps up high… LEG DROP SQUASHES ROXANNE UNDERNEATH THE LADDER!!!

The first “holy shit” chant of the night begins for that one, as Roxanne writhes around on the mat. Rhea grabs at her, well, ass, not looking overly comfortable, and whilst she recovers, a brawl between the other four competitors has broken out outside of the ring. Vaquer charges at Naomi on the outside but gets taken down by a brutal Clothesline!

Alexa is next to try her luck, but a sharp right from Naomi sends the veteran rolling away also. Giulia receives a right hand as well, until a fired up Vaquer charges in for more, but runs into a boot to the face! Having recovered inside of the ring, Ripley sees what’s going on, and heads outside, reigniting her brawl from earlier with Naomi.

They exchange right hand, fists flying everywhere, neither wanting to take a backwards step. Using her power advantage, Rhea is able to take control, landing a few shots in a row, before grabbing Naomi… AND SENDING HER HEADFIRST INTO THE CROWD BARRICADE!!!

Showing no mercy, Rhea drags Naomi back up and nails her with a hard headbutt. Naomi staggers backwards, leaning against the barricade, when Giulia spins Rhea around, but another headbutt from Rhea drops Giulia. Ripley shakes out some of the cloudiness after the head knocks, before turning back towards Naomi, but she gets run down with a Clothesline!

Naomi lets out a roar and pounds her chest but then gets sucked back into brawling with everybody on the outside. As this is happening, Roxanne has recovered inside the ring and realises she’s the only one inside with two ladders. Roxanne looks to take advantage of the chaos around her, setting up the ladder and starting to climb…

……
……… FIVE RUNGS TO GO ……….

VAQUER GRABS HER FROM BEHIND!

Vaquer urgently pulls Roxanne down by the rights, Roxanne easily landing on her feet due to not being too high up. Vaquer meets her with a kick to the gut and then tosses her through the middle ropes and to the outside. Now it’s Vaquer who prepares to climb the ladder to stardom… WHEN A FLYING LADDER CANNONS INTO HER BACK!!!

FROM THE APRON, GIULIA HAD SHOWN IMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AND THROWN THE LADDER AT VAQUER!!!

Vaquer is clearly in agony after that, but Giulia shows no compassion, hurrying over to her… BACKDROP DRIVER!!!

Having already competed once tonight, Vaquer rolls from the ring, needing time to recover. Giulia’s eyes now dart up high to the briefcase, so she heads to the ladder still set up in the centre of the ring. Before she can even climb one rung, Alexa starts lighting up Giulia’s chest with stinging chops. She continues this, until Giulia gets a thumb to the eye out of desperation.

The questionable tactic gets heat from the fans, as Bliss backs away, blindly. This allows Giulia to pick up one of the ladders from the canvas, raising it above her head… BUT BLISS GET A DROPKICK TO THE MID SECTION… CAUSING GIULIA TO DROP THE LADDER!!!

As Giulia hobbles around, holding her stomach, Bliss backs into the corner and heads to the middle rope… MISSILE DROPKICK!!!

The blow sends Giulia rolling underneath the bottom rope, when Bliss is quickly grabbed and thrown out of the ring by Naomi. The audience gasps as Naomi is the only woman in the ring with the ladders. Roxanne immediately rolls in to, unbeknownst to her that Naomi is waiting. Roxanne is frazzled once she realises and runs at Naomi… STRAIGHT INTO THE REAR VIEW!!!

Roxanne immediately exits the ring again, groaning in pain, as now it’s Vaquer’s turn to approach Naomi… BUT SHE STUMBLES INTO A REAR VIEW AS WELL!!!

Much like Roxanne before her, Vaquer leaves the ring to recover, but this time as Naomi gets up, she’s met with some chops from Bliss. Alexa goes to town with chops, rocking Naomi, before bouncing off the ropes to build some momentum… ANOTHER REAR VIEW CONNECTS!!!

Having watched the action from the outside, Giulia approaches Naomi from behind and begins aiming kicks at her leg. She has relative success with Naomi grimacing in pain, but a desperate Naomi grabs Giulia by the hair, and sends her into the ropes, so that when Giulia bounces back… SHE CAN GET A REAR VIEW TO!!!

It’s absolute pandemonium in the crowd as Naomi is on fire and cannot be stopped. Having wiped the competition, Naomi slowly heads to the ladder, which has now fallen to lean against the ropes. Naomi still has plenty of time as she sets up the apparatus underneath the briefcase, and begins the climb to glory…

……… FIVE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… FOUR RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… THREE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……

RHEA RIPLEY ROLLS INTO THE RING, AND QUICKLY CLIMBS UP THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LADDER, CATCHING UP TO NAOMI!

The two women begin throwing haymakers at each other as they meet at the top of the ladder. The ladder begins getting shaky, the two not noticing as they continue their slugfest… WHEN ROXANNE PUSHES THE LADDER OVER… SENDING RHEA CRASHING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE OUTSIDE!!!

Showing incredibly athleticism, Naomi noticed just in time and managed to leap off the ladder and land on her feet. She’s immediately met with a kick to the gut by Roxanne though… FOLLOWED BY POP ROCKS!!!

Naomi rolls to the outside on impact, and Roxanne notices that Naomi is incredibly working to her feet straight away. Roxanne repositions the ladder closer to the ring ropes and climbs her way up to the top… DIVING CROSSBODY FROM ROXANNE TAKES OUT NAOMI!!!

She takes out herself as well, but Naomi is finally down and out. The crowd’s reaction is to greet the spot with “holy shit” chants, as we’re now left with only an exhausted Stephanie Vaquer in the ring. She slowly staggers towards the ladder, and it takes her maximum effort to set it in the right position. After a deep breath, Vaquer begins the climb to the top…

………
……
……… FIVE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… FOUR RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
…….. THREE RUNGS TO GO ………

Vaquer is suddenly joined in the ring by Giulia, who tries to scurry up the ladder as quickly as possible:

………
……
……… TWO RUNGS FOR VAQUER, FIVE FOR GIULIA ………
………
………. FOUR RUNGS FOR GIULIA ………
……
……… ONE RUNG FOR VAQUER, THREE RUNGS FOR GIULIA ……….
………
VAQUER REAHCES UP FOR THE BRIEFCASE … GIULIA TAKES THE MOMENT TO GRAB ALEXA’S HEAD AND NECK WITH TWO HANDS…

THEY THEN BOTH FLY OFF THE LADDER… GIULIA TAKING VAQUER DOWN WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER!!!

The fans go bonkers, absolutely losing after that spot, with more of those famous “holy shit” chants kicking off. With victory in sight, now Rhea Ripley finds herself as the last woman standing… NO!!! SHE TURNS INTO A LADDER TO THE SKULL FROM ALEXA BLISS!!!

Having not made a truly huge splash in a long time, Bliss finds herself alone, with Rhea having tumbled to the outside. The crowd begin to urge on the veteran, getting behind her as she makes her ascent…

………
……
……… FIVE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… FOUR RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… THREE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… TWO RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… ONE RUNG TO GO ………
………

BLISS GETS HER HANDS ON THE BRIEFCASE …

… BUT SHE’S SUDDENLY NAILED FROM BENEATH WITH A STEEL CHAIR TO THE BACK FROM ROXANNE!!!

The disappointment from the fans is clear for all to hear, as Bliss relinquishes her grip on the briefcase, and crashes to the canvas. Roxanne watches on with a devious grin and then begins to climb…

………
……
……… FIVE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… FOUR RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… THREE RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… TWO RUNGS TO GO ………
………
……
……… ONE RUNG TO GO ………
………

ROXANNE REACHES UP REACHES UP …

AND NOBODY STOPS HER!!!

ROXANNE UNHOOKS THE BRIEFCASE!!!

WINNER: ROXANNE PEREZ VIA EVENT at 25:28

Everybody is stunned, in SHOCK. Nobody expected this result, but it has happened. As the other battered, bruised competitors watch on with forlorn expressions, Roxanne sits atop the ladder. She hugs her newly acquired briefcase, smiling wildly, knowing she’s one step closer to a future World Title shot.

The celebration continues, the fans not overly happy, as a young gun has taken the women’s MITB briefcase, much like last year…

VIDEO PACKAGE

A video airs recapping the tragic events of earlier today at Worlds Collide. It starts with REY MYSTERIO speaking proudly of AAA making it to the biggest stage in America, until a fan in a Mysterio mask rushed the ring. That fan unmasked before security could drag him away, revealing himself to be the WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION DOMINIK MYSTERIO.

Dom runs down his father, and Rey tries to deflect. Rey looks to walk away after mentioning tonight is about AAA, and not their family drama. Dom then attacks his dad, doing some significant damage to his already impacted groin area with a steel chair.

A bunch of Luchadores look to make the save, but Dom and the rest of JUDGMENT DAY escape through the crowd…

LATER ON

BACKSTAGE – LOCKER ROOM

We cut to the back, where the image we see is quite confronting. Sitting in a chair, semi-conscious, arms tied to the chair, and legs tied to each other is none other than REY MYSTERIO.

It’s an eerie sight for certain, and it gets worse as it’s revealed surrounding the tied up Mysterio are JUDGMENT DAY. That’s Rey’s son DOMINIK MYSTERIO, FINN BALOR, JD MCDONAGH and LIV MORGAN.

Rey is struggling to say conscious, giving off the old moment of struggle, but making no progress on escaping.

Meanwhile, there is a gleam in Dom’s eyes. It’s concerning. We’ve never seen the almost hungry look on Dom’s face before.

Dominik Mysterio:
You’re pathetic, Rey. I’ve already outed you as a deadbeat Dad…

Rey groans in pain, unable to communicate with his son.

Dominik Mysterio:
But I’m not finished with you yet. Tonight, I finish with you once and for all, because I’m about to rip off your legacy with my bare hands.

Dom takes a few steps closer to his father.

Dominik Mysterio:
YOU’RE NOT A LUCHADOR MASKED ICON ANYMORE!!!

Rey begins trying harder to escape so Finn and JD help hold him down. Dom continues to get closer…

Meanwhile, at ringside, EVERYBODY in the ring has left, jogging up the ramp, attempting to rescue Rey Mysterio…

But they are too late, as Dom wraps one hand around the throat of his dad, and with the other, Dom slowly, methodically begins untying the laces at the back of Rey’s mask.

Once untied, Dom takes a deep breath… AND HE’S DONE IT…

DOMINIK MYSTERIO JUST RIPPED OFF THE LEGENDARY MASK OF HIS FATHER!!!

Dom smiles broadly, as do the remainer of Judgment Day. Rey is still out of it, he knows it’s happened, but he’s unable to cover up. Rey Mysterio’s face has just been seen by everything watching this show.

And suddenly, the realisation kicks in for Rey.

He turns his head to see Judgment Day celebrating this history making occasion, Dom clutching onto the now removed mask.

Rey realises his face is on show for the entire world. He’s naked without his mask.

He’s been embarrassed and his legacy has been tarnished on arguably the biggest show in AAA history.

Judgment Day all continue to celebrate, but the show ends with a close up of Rey Mysterio’s face…

Changed forever…

A single, solitary tear rolling down his cheek…

RINGSIDE

***THE OTHER SIDE***

The heat is DEAFENING as the man who committed the heinous act struts through the curtain. DOMINIK MYSTERIO wears his IC strap proudly, looking very proud of himself. Even for Dom, this heat is loud as he performs his usual entrance, but he admittedly does look behind his back once or twice. Despite the arrogance, it’s clear he’s expecting some form of retaliation for what he did to his father earlier.

Dominik Mysterio:
Well, well, well…

Dom rolls his eyes, forced to stop as he can’t be heard over the volcanic heat from the audience.

Dominik Mysterio:
I’m sure you all just saw the footage of what I did earlier today…

BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Dominik Mysterio:
Celebrating the company where he got this start, AAA, I finally did what I said I would do all along. I put my deadbeat dad out to pasture.

More heat for the chuckling Dom, who lifts up the JD t-shirt hanging from his waist to reveal the mask he ripped off his dad’s head.

Dominik Mysterio:
I ripped this stupid mask right off his head!

Dom now pulls the mask out of waist band, AND HE ACTUALLY PUTS THE MASK ON!!!

Dominik Mysterio:
So now I’m not only the greatest WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time…

He taps the title around his waist, continuing to talk over the heat.

Dominik Mysterio:
I’m also now the greatest Luchador of all time as well.

Mysterio prances around in the mask a little, feeling himself right now.

Dominik Mysterio:
To think I’ve accomplished all of this, and I’m only twen-…

***ANIMO***

Dom’s eyes go wide in shock, and the fans mark out for the interruption, as REY FENIX SPRINTS THROUGH THE CURTAIN!!!

There’s none of the usual theatrics from the masked man, as Fenix slides right into the ring… AND SPEARS DOM DOWN TO THE MAT!!!

On commentary, they talk about Fenix sticking up for his idol, Rey Mysterio. It’s rather not like Fenix offense, as he mounts Dom and just mauls him with wild left and right hands.

After awhile of just taking the abuse, Dom gets a hip escape and manages to roll Fenix away from him.

Both men bounce back up, and Fenix lands another hard right hand, causing Dom to throw himself through the ropes and to the outside.

Fenix is all fired up, pumping his fists and imploring the IC Champ to get back in. Fenix is getting a huge ovation, whilst Dom points menacingly but begins backing up the ramp.

Dom gets about halfway up the ramp, when he backs into something… Or better yet someone…

IT’S DRAGON LEE!!!

Dom’s face says it all, as he mouths “oh shit”. Lee grabs a hold of Dom and escorts him back down the ramp, rolling him into the ring.

Fenix mounts him again, continuing to unload rights in the name of Rey Mysterio when…

???:
Whoa, whoa, stop this, stop this right now.

RAW GENERAL MANAGER ADAM PEARCE
has stepped onto the stage.

Adam Pearce:
Even though Dom’s actions earlier today were downright disgusting, I can’t just have my WWE Intercontinental Champion get pummelled in a wild brawl like this.

Heat from the fans for this, as Fenix has his hands on hips, annoyed. Meanwhile, Dom snickers, despite checking his lip for blood on the canvas.

Adam Pearce:
So, I’m sure my counterpart from Smackdown Nick Aldis would have no complaints when I say, we’re going to have ourselves an impromptu match right now!

Whoa, huge pop, and Dom isn’t so happy suddenly.

Adam Pearce:
It’s going to be REY FENIX VS. DOMINIK MYSTERIO RIGHT NOW!!!

Another positive response comes from the fans, as Fenix is ready to go, and Dom looks fearful for his life as he rips off his mask…

Impromptu Match:
Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Fenix

The bell rings and Fenix begins with the same spear to the mat and barrage of strikes he had success within the brawl beforehand. The fans cheer loudly as the referee tries to uphold the rules, but Fenix just can’t be stopped. Eventually Dom uses some brute strength to roll Fenix off of him. This allows Mysterio to scramble to his feet, where Fenix runs at him again, but Dom gets a Side Headlock Takedown out of nowhere.

Fenix slaps the mat in frustration, as Dom keeps all his wait pressing on Fenix, not wanting him to get up. Despite the offense being super basic, Mysterio is aggressive on the mat, knowing the fuelled by fury Fenix is way too hard to control in a striking battle at the moment. Fenix is a veteran of the game though and when he stops letting his frustration cloud his judgement, he’s able to counter out of Dom’s mat work and work back to his feet.

Our commentary team start joking that Fenix’s fists must be getting sore, as he resorts to European Uppercuts to lay into Dom. They’re quickly followed by body kicks and then some forearms, as he does everything, but use closed knuckled punches. After beating on Dom some more, Fenix steps it up a level with a STEP UP GAMENGURI!!!

The IC Champ falls face first into the canvas, as Fenix gets up and punches the air, getting the crowd fired up. Fenix then heads to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. He remains perched on top, waiting for Mysterio to battle to his feet… DROPKICK OFF THE TOP CONNECTS!!!

Showing his mindset, instead of going for the cover, Fenix mounts Dom again and continues to hammer away with shot after shot. The referee tries to get Fenix off, and it’s enough for Dom to roll him off. In serious trouble, Mysterio keeps on rolling, getting himself underneath the bottom rope and to the outside.

He lands with a splat on the floor, really struggling to catch his breath and shake out the cobwebs. Fenix sidesteps the referee and follows Dom out, clearly still seeing red. Seeing him from a distance, Mysterio puts his hands up, begging for mercy, but Fenix shakes his head. Fenix stomps over to Dom… BUT DOM GRABS HIS WAIST BAND… AND PULLS FENIX FACE FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST!!!

The collision with the steel post is enough to knock Fenix loopy. As the camera and referee focus in on Fenix, ensuring he’s okay, Mysterio crawls around ringside, trying to create some distance between them. Somehow, showing just how strong his rage is, Fenix powers to his feet, before Dom is even back up. With fear written all over his face, Mysterio rolls inside of the ring.

Fenix is quick to roll in after Dom, chasing him… WHEN DOM CLEANS FENIX’S CLOCK WITH AN IC TITLE SHOT TO THE SKULL!!!

Mysterio was goading Fenix in to escape the danger of this situation, and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell…

WINNER: REY FENIX VIA DISQUALIFICATION at 4:32.

Dom just continued his night filled with heat seeking actions, as he quickly hurries from the ring. Mysterio clutches the IC Title to his chest like a newborn baby, but he knows he can’t go through the curtain as Dragon Lee, and who knows who else is most likely waiting.

Instead, Dom escapes through the crowd for the SECOND time today, getting unceremoniously booed out of the building in the process.

Inside the ring, Fenix is being helped up, shaking his head with fury at Mysterio’s cheap way out…

BACKSTAGE – RANDOM HALLWAY

A confident looking SETH ROLLINS leads the pack, flanked by BRON BREAKKER and BRONSON REED, whilst PAUL HEYMAN is one step behind them. The dastardly quartet look very confident, until they come to a halt. They have come face to face with SOLO SIKOA, who of course has WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIPON JACOB FATU and JC MATEO with him.

The tension immediately picks up between the crews after what happened on Smackdown. Slowly, both Seth and Solo take a step closer to each other, deadly serious.

Seth Rollins:
Solo.

Solo Sikoa:
Seth.

Rollins smirks at the quick response from Sikoa.

Seth Rollins:
That’s cute.

Solo shakes his head, curling his upper lip into a sneer.

Solo Sikoa:
I’m about to be real cute when I’ve got that Money In The Bank briefcase in my hands.

Rollins laughs.

Seth Rollins:
You’ve got such a promising career ahead of yourself, kid.

Solo screws his face up, knowing it was said with a complete lack of respect.

Seth Rollins:
Don’t go making enemies that can change that.

That’s a threat if I’ve ever heard one. Solo and his crew take another step forward, ready to scrap.

Seth Rollins:
Whoa, whoa, we’re just talking, kid. I’m not getting my hands dirty with this; I’ve got a briefcase to win.

Seth laughs and turns to leave, but Solo grabs his arm. This immediately gets Reed and Breakker to aggressively step forward. Rollins and Heyman are forced to assure them it’s okay.

Solo Sikoa:
Not if I win it first.

The two heels smirk now, almost sharing a moment of respect, before they turns on their heels and go their separate ways. Heyman and Reed follow Rollins, as Mateo follows Sikoa, but we are left with BREAKKER AND FATU STARING EACH OTHER DOWN FOR THE SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW!!!

This powder keg could explode at any second, until both posse’s are back, dragging their respective war machine from breaking out into absolute chaos…

WWE Womens Intercontinental Championship Match:
Lyra Valkyria (c) defends against Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has been poking and prodding at Lyra for weeks now, and it’s clear that Lyra wasn’t here to play around. Once the bell rings, the champ goes right after Lynch, hammering away with right hands, basically punching the crap out of her. Ever the veteran, Becky tries to create some distance and get some respite, but Lyra is fired up and unrelenting.

Valkyria pinballs Becky around the ring for as long as she pleases, until Lynch blatantly runs away. Once she’s created a distance again, she heads to the outside to take a breather. Listening to the referee, the champ remains in the ring, allowing Becky to take her time. This means the red haired warrior trades insults with the fans, ever her obnoxious self, before she rolls back into the ring.

The slow approach didn’t work initially so this time Becky tries to fight fire with fire. She explodes, throwing caution to the wind, sprinting right at Valkyria, but Lyra simply sidesteps her and uses Becky’s momentum to throw her back outside. This time Becky slaps the floor in frustration, annoyed at being blatantly embarrassed by the much less experienced champion.

Lyra again stands tall in the centre of the ring, begging Becky to come back in. Yet again, Lynch takes her time, before rolling in and offering up a test of strength. They only lock one hand, when Becky attempts a cheap shot… No! Lyra ducks it and lands a punch of her own, which drops Becky. For the third time, Becky heads right back to the outside for a reprieve.

This time Lyra runs out of patience, following Becky out and not letting her regroup on the floor. Grabbing a hold of the retreating Becky… LYRA THROWS HER SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST!!!

With Becky feeling at her shoulder in agony, Valkyria hoists her up from the floor and rolls her back inside the ring. The champion stomps up the stairs, before preparing to enter the ring, stepping her left leg over the middle rope… BECKY POUNCES WITH A DROPKICK TO THE KNEE!!!

Valkyria falls inside the ring, grabbing at her knee, now she’s also in tremendous pain. The resilient Becky shakes out her arm and now begins working on the leg of the champion. Showing her big match experience, Lynch doesn’t let emotion get the better of her and just remains lasered in on the leg of Lyra. It’s a brutal beatdown but despite working up a serious limp, the champ stays in the fight.

Eventually, Becky sends Lyra to the corner, following in with a few right hands, before lifting the injured left leg, and leaning it on the middle rope. Sensing danger, the champion erupts with right hands, peppering Becky, desperately attempting to fight out of the corner. After Lyra lands multiple blows in a row, Lynch cleverly lands a kick to the leg to halt the momentum.

Almost a groan of frustration emanates from Valkyria, as she reaches for her weakened limb once again. Becky looks to push forward with her full body weight, grabbing a hold of the leg, but almost out of frustration, Lyra manages to grab Becky and throw her out of the ring. Lynch lands with a splat but Lyra can’t capitalise, instead she just unhooks her leg and tries to shake it out.

Before the champ can get back in business, Becky is back up and she trips up Lyra from the outside. Suddenly, Lynch snaps… AS SHE BEGINS SMASHING THE INJURED LEG OF LYRA REPEATEDLY AGAINST THE STEEL STEPS!!!

Screams come from deep within Lyra now… AS BECKY SWITCHES IT UP… AND TWICE WRAPS THE LEG AROUND THE RINGPOST!!!

The referee admonishes Becky, who finally relents, holding her hands up to proclaim her innocence. This allows Valkyria to wriggle herself out of the corner and back towards the centre of the ring. There’s no thought of the champ getting back up, when Lynn is back in the ring, once again picking up the bad leg… AND BECKY LOCKS IN A LEG BAR!!!

Becky rips and yanks at the leg, doing all she can to inflict pain, but the gutsy Valkyria refuses to submit. Lyra is unable to get any closer to the ropes, and eventually she shows tremendous heart, sitting up in the hold to throw hard punches at Becky’s face. Becky can only take so much and then she’s forced to break the hold, needing to protect herself.

Both women scramble to their feet, and Becky uses her quickness advantage, running at Lyra, but she runs straight into a Clothesline! On instinct, Lynch bounces off the mat, straight into another Clothesline! Yet again, Lynch is right back up to her feet, where Lyra now tees off with right hands. Once Lynch is on dream street, Lyra grabs a hold of her… NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!!

BUT THE AWKWARD BEND OF THE KNEE TO PULL IT OFF CAUSES LYRA TO DROP TO THE MAT AFTER THE MOVE!!!

The champion is getting checked on by the referee, in severe trouble with that leg. She’s unable to capitalise on the biggest move of the night from her perspective, meanwhile Lynch gets all the time in the world to recover. Eventually, Becky is back up, noticing that Lyra has struggled back to her feet as well, but Lynch just yanks at the injured leg. This gets her the easiest of single legged takedowns, and then Becky steps over the leg… FIGURE FOUR!!!

Both men scramble to their feet and charge at each other… LYRA GETS A LEG LARIAT!!!

Cleverly, the champion utilised her good leg, and she manages to land in the best way possible to avoid to much damage to the bad one. Now Lyra drags Becky back up… AND HOISTS HER UP ON HER SHOULDERS FOR THE NIGHTWING!!!

With a sense of frustration, now it’s Lynch’s turn to drag Lyra to her feet, only to hook her up… MANHANDLE SLAM!!!

As Lynch staggers away, suffering from the elbows to the temple, Valkyria grabs a hold of her. Lyra sends Lynch bouncing off the ropes, ducking her head, but she ducks too soon… AND LYNCH SNATCHES AN INSIDE CRADLE…

Due to the hampered leg of Valkyria, Becky once again has the pace advantage and is on her feet first. Lyra gets up as quickly as she can, but Becky is waiting for her… BECKY LIFTS LYRA UP… SHIN BREAKER!!!

Smartly, it’s right back to the leg for Lynch, as Lyra hops on one leg, grabbing at the injured one. Becky then runs through the champion with a Clothesline, before SPRINGBOARDING OFF THE ROPES INTO A LEG DROP!!!

UNABLE TO KICK OUT, LYRA GETS HER FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!

For all her experience, Lynch made a crucial error there and pinned Lyra in the wrong part of the ring. She knows she messed up to as Becky runs her hands through her hair in distress. After letting out a yell, Lynch brutally grabs Valkyria by the hair and drags her to the centre of the ring. Becky then drags Lyra up and drills her with a second Shin Breaker!

Lyra stays on her feet, again reaching for that leg, as Becky bounces off the ropes for momentum BUT SHE RUNS STRAIGHT INTO A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!

AND ONE OF BECKY’S LIMBS CATCHES THE REFEREE ON THE WAY DOWN TO!!!

All three members (including referee) of the match are down. Everything is at a standstill, when ever so slowly, the two competitors begin pushing themselves up. Both get up at roughly the same time, both wobbly… WHEN A MASKED PERSON COMES INTO THE RING!!!

THE MASKED PERSON PUSHES LYRA OUT OF THE WAY…

AND HITS THE ROSE PLANT ON BECKY LYNCH!!!

THAT’S RIGHT, THE MASKED PERSON REMOVED THE MASK…

AND IT’S BAYLEY!!!

This is Bayley’s first appearance since pre Mania, and she’s just laid out the woman who replaced her. Lyra, using the ropes to remain balances, is completely confused and shocked, as Bayley pays her no attention, instead just leaving the ring. Just sort of shrugging, Lyra bends down and hoists Lynch up to her feet, and then onto her shoulders… NIGHTWING!!!

LYRA HOOKS THE LEG…

AND OF COURSE THE REFEREE IS BACK IN ACTION…

WINNER: LYRA VALKYRIA VIA PINFALL at 15:55.

The referee raises Lyra’s hand, but mainly the pop and buzz of excitement is around the return of Bayley. Lyra looks down at Becky, almost looking disappointed that she didn’t get to win cleanly and prove herself tonight.

The IC Champ then turns her attention to Bayley, her former partner, who remains at ringside. Bayley doesn’t meet Lyra’s eye contacting, refusing to engage her, which puzzles Lyra even more.

With a shrug of the shoulders, Lyra taps the IC title on her shoulder and exits the ring. Once she’s disappeared, Bayley enters the ring, slowly dragging the out of it Becky Lynch to her knees.

Bayley grabs Lynch by the hair and yells in her defenceless face, “YOU’LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME”!

BELLY TO BAYLEY SUPLEX!!!

Bayley drills Lynch and the fans cheer loudly, as the intense, more aggressive than usual Bayley stands over Lynch. It seems like we are far from finished here…

BACKSTAGE – LOCKER ROOM

Sitting in the back in front of a monitor, minding his own business is none other than CM PUNK. The appearance of Punk gets an EPIC pop from inside the arena, as he casually takes a sip from his bottle of water.

Suddenly, Punk’s face is screwed up, as he approached by a bunch of security guards. Punk stands up and rolls his eyes, as behind the guards stands ADAM PEARCE.

CM Punk:
Seriously, Pearce?

The Raw GM shrugs sheepishly.

Adam Pearce:
I’m sorry, I wish there was another way. I really do. But I won’t have you lurking around the arena, ready to attack Seth Rollins and in turns cost Raw the chance of holding the Money In The Bank briefcase.

Punk scoffs.

CM Punk:
I’m just here to watch the match.

Pearce shakes his head.

Adam Pearce:
Sorry, Punk, my decision is final. You are barred from the arena tonight and you will be escorted out by security.

Punk’s clearly annoyed as the security take a step towards him. One tries to grab him… AND PUNK SHRUGS HIM OFF AND RAMS HIM INTO THE WALL!!!

The poor guard crumbles, leaving quite the crack in the wall plaster.

CM Punk:
I’ll go… On my own accord. Keep your rent a cops off me.

A furious Punk does as he says, picking up his bag and walking out to exit the arena. It looks like we won’t get CM Punk costing Seth Rollins tonight…

Mens Money In The Bank Ladder Match:
AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Seth Rollins vs. Solo Sikoa

The six superstars look around at one another, sizing each other up, not making an immediate move once the bell rings. All it takes is for one man to move, and all hell break loose, as they quickly pair off to start things off. LA Knight and Andrade strike up a strange partnership and fight against the even stranger team of Penta and Seth Rollins. Whilst on the other side of the ring, Styles and Solo duke it out.

All six continue to brawl, with Solo getting on top and backing AJ into the corner with right hands. Meanwhile, Andrade and LA Knight back up Penta and Rollins respectively… AND THEY CLOTHESLINE THEM BOTH OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE OUTSIDE!!!

Solo continues his basic beatdown on AJ, switching from punches to kicks. In the centre of the ring, Knight and Andrade share a look, before going high risk. After running across the ring, KNIGHT TAKES OUT PENTA WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!!

AT THE SAME TIME, ANDRADE LANDS ON ROLLINS WITH A PLANCHA!!!

The crowd cheers loudly for the high risk as Solo walks away from the battered AJ in the corner. With all the guys on the outside working to their feet, Solo climbs up to the top turnbuckle… SOLO TAKES DOWN EVERYBODY WITH AN AWKWARD LOOKING PLANCHA!!!

The audience cheers wildly as crazily enough, five of the six men involved in this match have been taken out rather early. Coming to his senses inside the ring, Styles sees everybody else down and poses to the fans briefly. AJ then heads to the outside, and grabs himself a ladder, slowly unfolding it and sliding it back inside the ring.

Yet to be interrupted, AJ sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring. He grabs the ladder, ready to begin climbing, as Andrade made his way to his feet on the outside. AJ ignores it and starts his climb to the top, hoping to grab the briefcase early… BUT ANDRADE SLIDES IN AND PULLS STYLES DOWN BY THE TIGHTS!!!

Styles shows his athleticism, landing on his feet, but Andrade is unimpressed, clocking Styles with a right hand. AJ immediately responds with a chop, Andrade hits back, so does AJ, and the two continue to go back and forth. Just as it seems like neither man is going to back down, Andrade lands a crisp Side Kick, dropping Styles to the canvas.

In charge inside the ring, Andrade grabs a hold of the ladder and moves it to the corner of the ring. Andrade’s not done with the rearranging of the furniture, as he exits the ring, and looks underneath, finding himself a STEEL CHAIR. Andrade places the chair in the position he wants, ready for it to be sat on in the middle of the ring, before bringing AJ to his feet and landing a few hard right hands.

Andrade sends Styles to the corner before charging in after him… Andrade leaps up… ANDRADE MONEKY FLIPS AJ OUT OF THE CORNER AND ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR IN THE CENTRE OF THE RING!!!

Styles convulses in pain, landing badly on his back. Needing some recovery, AJ rolls underneath the bottom rope for a breather. With the inside action cooling off, Solo, Knight, Penta and Rollins all make it to their feet on the outside. Solo quickly leaps up, sliding into the ring, but LA Knight is unable to do the same thing. Instead Penta and Rollins grab him… AND THE UNLIKELY DUO TOSS KNIGHT STRAIGHT INTO THE STEEL STEPS!!!

Inside the ring, Andrade and Solo have started to trade right hands. As that’s happening, outside the ring, Rollins barks some instructions at Penta, who surprisingly listens, and together the two grab a ladder. They both slide it into the ring and follow it in after. Solo turns around from his brawl to see the commotion… AND ROLLINS AND PENTA RAM THE LADDER INTO HIS SKULL!!!

They look to do the same to Andrade, but he sees it coming and tries to channel his inner RVD… LOOKING FOR A SPINNING HEEL KICK INTO THE LADDER!!!

NO!!! ROLLINS AND PENTA DUCK… LOWERING THE LADDER WITH THEM!!!

Andrade shows his athleticism again, landing on his feet… BUT THEN GETS A LADDER IN THE FACE COURTESY OF ROLLINS AND PENTA!!!

Rollins and Penta put down the ladder now, and Rollins quickly picks up Andrade… SCOOP SLAM ON TOP OF THE LADDER!!!

After further discussion, Rollins and Penta head to opposite corners, and climb up to the top rope. As they both prepare for some high risk, suddenly Penta is interrupted as LA Knight desperately grabs onto his foot. Rollins sees the desperate struggle on the other side but doesn’t care… ROLLINS LEAPS OFF WITH AN ELBOW DROP!!!

NO!!! ANDRADE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND ROLLINS CRASHES AND BURNS ON THE LADDER!!!

Meanwhile, Penta kicks repeatedly, managing to shrug Knight off of him. Penta looks down now and sees Rollins on the ladder, but this partnership is well and truly over… PENTA WITH A SPLASH OFF THE TOP!!!

NO!!! ROLLINS ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND PENTA CRASHES ON TOP OF THE LADDER!!!

This unholy alliance is well and truly broken, and now both men groan in agony on the canvas. Meanwhile, at ringside, AJ Styles has managed to work his way back to his feet. Meanwhile Knight slides back into the ring with a steel chair… KNIGHT THROWS THE CHAIR ACROSS THE RING… AND IT CRASHES INTO THE SKULL OF SOLO!!!

Knight then runs across the ring, and leaps to the ropes… BREAKING OUT IN AN INCREDIBLE SPRINGBOARD PLANCHA ON AJ STYLES ON THE OUTSIDE!!!

Back inside of the ring, somehow Andrade is back up, and he surveys the carnage around him. He’s the only man standing. He gingerly sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and begins the climb…

AS ANDRADE TRIES TO KEEP HIMSELF STEADY, ROLLINS BEGINS SCALING THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LADDER!!!

Not noticing, Andrade reaches up high, fingers brushing the briefcase, when Rollins nails him with a shot in the gut. Seth follows that up with a fist to the face. Andrade shows grit and determination, fighting back and now the two just begin brawling on top of the ladder. Andrade gets on top, ramming Seth’s head into the ladder, causing Rollins to slump down.

It looks like Andrade might be thinking of setting up for a Sunset Flip Powerbomb, when he gets clobbered from behind by Penta. Penta is landing these shots to the back from the canvas, allowing Rollins to manoeuvre Andrade… ROLLINS LANDS A FALL FORWARD SINGLE UNDERHOOK DDT… SENDING BOTH HE AND ANDRADE FALLING OFF THE LADDER!!!

It's an epic spot, which gets a huge pop from the fans. Penta watches both men land with a crash, and shakes his head, stepping over them to climb the ladder himself…

LA KNIGHT HAS SEEN PENTA’S ASCENT AND HAS STARTED CLIMBING ANOTHER LADDER WAY QUICKER…

………….

……

……..PENTA HAS ONE RUNG TO GO……….

Knight nails Penta with a hard right hand to the mouth. This prevents Penta from reaching for the briefcase, so Knight continues with a few more shots. As this is happening, both Solo and AJ Styles work their way to their feet on opposite sides of the ring. Solo heads up the ladder that Penta is on, whilst AJ begins climbing the ladder that Knight is on.

As they work their way towards the top, the brawl is absolutely on! The four brawl at the top of the ladder, whilst Rollins has gotten himself a steel chair back down on the ground. ROLLINS SWINGS THE CHAIR FROM THE GROUND, NAILING SOLO IN THE BACK… CAUSING HIM TO FALL OFF THE LADDER IN THE PROCESS!!!

Rollins now climbs up the ladder that Solo just fell off, which Penta is on. Instead of brawling with Penta, they both kick with their feet… PUSHING THE LADDER HOLDING KNIGHT AND AJ DOWN TO THE CANVAS!!!

KNIGHT TUMBLES ALL THE WAY TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR… WHILST STYLES UNLUCKILY CROTCHES THE TOP ROPE BEFORE FALLING TO THE FLOOR!!!

The crowd cheer for the spot and then a level of excitement picks up, as they realise it’s Rollins and Penta left now. Both try and beat the other two it… AND THEY BOTH GRAB THE BRIEFCASE AT THE SAME TIME!!!

They stare into each other’s eyes, not even trying to unhook it, as everybody realises what comes next. Rollins hits a right hand, Penta quickly retaliates, and they begin hammering away on each other. Penta swings wildly with a haymaker, but Rollins ducks and surprisingly jumps off the ladder.

Rollins lands on his feet… AND THEN PUSHES THE LADDER WITH PENTA ON IT…

BUT PENTA LEAPS OFF AND LANDS ON HIS FEET!!!

Now they square off in the middle of the ring, neither man backing down yet again. Just as Penta gets the advantage in the fist fight, Rollins goes low with a kick to the gut. Rollins whips Penta into the ropes and ducks his head, but ducks to early so Penta comes back with a boot to the face. As Rollins grabs at his face, Penta grabs him and sends him to the ropes now.

As Rollins comes back, Penta goes for a Clothesline… No! Seth avoids it… AND THEN DROPS PENTA WITH A SUPERKICK!!!

Outside of the ring, Solo heads underneath the apron and pulls out a TABLE, which gets a large, positive reaction from the crowd. Solo sets up the table on the outside. Inside the ring, Seth adjusts the ladder, sensing this might be his chance. Rollins begins scaling the ladder yet again, but this time he’s joined by Andrade on the other side.

And it looks like we have another battle of supremacy on top of the ladder. The two exchange right hands, with Rollins impressively getting the advantage, and knocking Andrade off the ladder. Andrade shows off his balance once again, landing on his feet… AND THEN ANDRADE SHOVES THE LADDER FORWARD…

CAUSING ROLLINS TO TUMBLE OFF THE LADDER AND TOWARDS THE TABLE ON THE OUTSIDE!!!

NO!!! ROLLINS IS CAUGHT BY BRON BREAKKER AND BRONSON REED!!!

Both men just saved their fearless leader at the request of PAUL HEYMAN! “Holy shit” chants ring out for the cool moment, whilst inside the ring, Andrade pays it no attention, and begins the trek up the ladder…

ANDRADE REACHES UP FOR THE BRIEFCASE!!!

Bronson Reed is in the ring, and he shoves the ladder down… BUT ANDRADE HOLDS ONTO THE BRIEFCASE, NOW DANGLING FIFTEEN FEET IN THE AIR!!!

Reed is trying to get at the feet of him but can’t, when Heyman mouths to Breakker, “Sabu”. Heyman quickly gives instructions and Breakker gets a steel chair before climbing up to the top rope… BRON THROWS THE STEEL CHAIR AND IT SMASHES INTO ANDRADE!!!

CAUSING HIM TO LET GO OF THE BRIEFCASE AND CRASH TO THE CANVAS!!!

BRONSON REED IMMEDIATELY PICKS UP ANDRADE... AND POWERBOMBS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE OUTSIDE THE RING!!!

"HOLY SHIT" chants commence after the big bump from Andrade. Now with Rollins having time to recover, Reed and Breakker beat up all of the opposition. They continue to go to down, beating down all the others, as Rollins sets up the ladder. Full of arrogance, he begins his climb to the top…

Reed and Breakker have both been momentarily taken care of. Roman now turns his attention towards Seth, hatred in his eyes despite his calm demeanour. As Seth stumbles up, Roman charges at him… SUPERMAN PUNCH!!!

Roman Reigns has taken out all of them, and Paul Heyman has run off, not wanting to be next. As this has happened, Penta has seen everything open up for him, as he gets up and sets up the ladder. Penta takes a few steps towards climbing… WHEN HE GETS CREAMED WITH A STEEL CHAIR FROM AJ STYLES!!!

Tag Team Match:
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul

The fans are SUPER into Cody as you can imagine, chanting his name from the get-go. Fired up for his official return to action, ‘The American Nightmare’ opts to start things for his team, and he demands that Cena get in. Much to the dismay of the fans, ‘The Last Real Champion’ declines the offer, and Logan Paul will start things out. The Social Media Superstar is full of arrogance, scoffing at Cody, and saying “YOU AREN’T GETTING THAT TITLE BACK, CODY… YOU’RE NOT GETTING THROUGH ME TONIGHT”!

As the fans boo, Logan looks at them and cockily laughs, only for Cody to line up and land a massive forearm to Paul’s face. Safe to say the smile is gone now, as Cody continues to unload onto Paul, letting off months of frustration. Cody has his way with Logan, before dragging him by the hair to the corner, and after ramming Paul headfirst into the top turnbuckle, Cody tags in Jey Uso.

Once Cody’s on the apron, he points at Cena, letting it be known, “YOU’RE THE ONE THAT I WANT”. Back to the action, and it’s more of the same for the stunned Paul, as the World Heavyweight Champion clearly enjoys working him over. After dropping Paul with a right hand, Jey looks at the fans and gives them a “YEET”, but that’s enough time for Logan to get a thumb to the eyes.

Uso staggers around blindly, rubbing at his eyes, allowing Paul to crawl to the corner and make the tag to Cena. The heat is massive as Cena comes in and runs through the blinded Uso with a Shoulder Block! Now the heel team really begin to have their way with Uso, as Cena and Paul trade tags nicely, beating down the former tag team specialist.

Cena ends up back in as the legal man, and he sends Cody to the corner, just stomping away on him until Cody is slumped in the corner. The former champion then fights for his life, as Cena calculatedly puts a foot across his throat, choking him. With Uso incapacitated, Cena takes a stroll around the ring, coming face to face with Cena, before telling him, “YOU AIN’T ON MY LEVEL, KID”.

It takes all the restraint in the world from Cody not to come charging after Cena, who then hits him with the ‘you can’t see me’ taunt. The WWE Champion heads back over to his own corner and tags Logan Paul back in, who continues to keep the struggling Jey Uso grounded. Now it’s Paul’s turn to talk trash to Cody, but the former champ doesn’t care, rolling his eyes at the Impaulsive host.

Feeling disrespected, Paul leans forward… AND LOGAN PAUL SPITS AT CODY!!!

The heat is gigantic from the fans as a furious Cody looks to step inside the ring, but the referee immediately intervenes, holding him back. Paul can’t help but arrogantly laugh at Cody, before turning back towards Uso, but Paul took to long messing around. Jey fires away at Paul with right hands, stunning him before sending him bouncing off the ropes… JEY CONNECTS WITH A LEG LARIAT ON PAUL’S RETURN!!!

Grabbing at his face, Paul desperately rolls to the outside, not appreciating the contact. Ever the caring teammate, which annoys the fans even more, Cena gets off the apron and checks on Paul out on the floor. As the two have an emergency conference, Cody gets inside the ring and gets on his hands and knees near the ropes.

Having a short stint as tag champs meaning Jey understands what Cody wants. Jey runs across the ring… AND USING CODY’S BACK AS A SPRINGBOARD… JEY LANDS A SLOPPY LOOKING PLANCHA… TAKING OUT BOTH OPPONENTS!!!

Inside the ring, Cody gets the crowd pumped up, as Uso does his best to get to his feet in a timely fashion. Wasting no time, Jey rolls Paul back into the ring, and at the referee’s request, Cody goes back to the apron. Uso follows Paul back in, but Paul quickly crawls to his corner and makes the tag to Cena, who had just reached the apron.

After the outside the ring spot, Cena is less than impressed and is more aggressive. He locks up with Uso and overpowers him, basically shoving him through the ropes and to the outside. The WWE Champion follows the World Champion out, but Jey hammers back with right hands… UNTIL MEMBERS OF LOGAN PAUL’S ENTOURAGE THROW A DRINK AT JEY!!!

Uso turns to face them and swings at a few of them… BUT THIS ALLOWS CENA TO GRAB JEY AND RAM HIM INTO THE RING STEPS!!!

Cena quickly rolls in and back out of the ring to break up the referee’s count, before he methodically stomps all over the sore Jey. After working him over on the floor for a while, Cena ragdolls Jey back inside of the ring. Cena follows Jey in, slowly dragging him to his feet, only to land a few more rights to back him against the ropes.

Cena than sends Jey bouncing off the opposite ropes, and when Uso comes back… CENA BREAKS OUT HIS SIT OUT HIP TOSS!!!

CENA HOOKS THE LEG…

NO!!!

CODY MAKES THE SAVE AND BREAKS UP THE COUNT!!!

Cena looks over at Cody, shaking his head in irritated, as Rhodes is forced back to his corner. Meanwhile, Cena remains focused on Uso, bringing him to his feet… HOISTING HIM UP FOR THE PROTOBOMB!!!

NO!!! JEY FLOATS OVER AND LANDS ON HIS FEET…

JEY CHARGES ACROSS THE RING… AND LANDS A FOREARM TO KNOCK LOGAN PAUL OFF THE APRON!!!

Uso then turns to run towards the centre of the ring… CENA CATCHES HIM AND GETS HIM UP ON HIS SHOULDERS FOR THE ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!!!

NO!!! JEY WRIGGLES OUT AND LANDS ON HIS FEET!!!

Jey pushes Cena in the back to cause him to be off balance… AND JEY LEAPS ACROSS THE RING TO MAKE THE HOT TAG TO CODY!!!

NO!!! LOGAN PAUL HAS MANAGED TO PULL CODY OFF THE APRON!!!

The heat from the fans is crazy for the cool false hot tag spot. Cena immediately grabs a hold of Jey, getting back in control and he throws him back into the heel teams corner. Cena peppers away with right hands, until Logan tags himself back in. Paul drags Uso back into the centre of the ring, before hoisting him high in the air… THE PAULVERISER!!!

NO!!! USO MANAGES TO LAND ON HIS FEET!!!

Paul scrambles to his, but JEY DROPS HIM WITH A SUPERKICK!!!

Both men are down as the fans desperately urge Uso to make it to his corner and tag in Cody. Rhodes looks like he’s starving for action, as both men slowly crawl to their respective corners. As Cody leans for the tag… ONE OF LOGAN PAUL’S ENTOURAGE TRIES TO PULL HIM OFF THE APRON…

NO!!! CODY PUNTS THE GUY RIGHT IN THE FACE!!!

AND JEY MAKES THE HOT TAG TO CODY…

JUST AS PAUL TAGS IN CENA!!!

Two of the biggest names in WWE history meet in the centre of the ring and they trade blows. Running off emotion and fury, Cody gets the better of the exchange, dominating Cena with right hands after a little while. Cena is forced to back against the ropes, barely maintaining his footing, and Cody sends him bounces off the opposite side… RIGHT INTO A SNAP POWERLAM!!!

USO MAKES THE SAVE JUST AS CODY KICKS OUT ANYWAY!!!

From the outside, Paul leaps off the apron and trips up Jey by the foot, dragging him out of the ring. They begin brawling at ringside, eventually making their way up the ramp and through to the backstage area. Meanwhile, inside of the ring, Cena stands over Cody and gives him the ‘you can’t see me’ taunt. Cena bounces off the ropes, dusts off his shoulder… FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE!!!

NO!!! CODY ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND CENA DRIVES HIS FIST INTO THE MAT!!!

Cena starts to get up, holding his hand, but Cody gets him in a Reverse Front Facelock… CROSS RHODES!!!

NO!!! CENA SPINS OUT…

AND THEN BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND MOWS CODY DOWN WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK!!!

Cena hurriedly brings Cody back up… ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!!!

NO!!! CODY LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND CENA!!!

And Cody immediately takes Cena’s leg out with a Chop Block! The WWE Champion writhes on the mat, as Cody grabs the leg he just targeted, steps over… CODY APPLIES THE FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK!!!

Cody throws his own body up and down, cranking on the hold, creating as much leverage and pain as humanly possible. Screaming in agony, Cena raises his hand in the air, contemplating tapping out and fighting another day… WHEN LOGAN PAUL DRAGS THE REFEREE OUT OF THE RING!!!

On commentary, they say they’re getting reports that Jey is stuck in a brawl with Paul’s entourage, who have conveniently left ringside. Cody suddenly relinquishes the submission though, as he notices what has happened. Paul looks to quickly roll in and attack Cody, but Cody catches him… CROSS RHODES!!!

Logan Paul is out of it, as Cody drags his dead weight up and tosses him to the outside. The referee slides back into the ring as Cody leans over the ropes, mouthing some not so kind things in the direction of Paul. Cody now turns back towards the centre of the ring… CENA MEETS HIM WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE!!!

The shot causes Cody to stagger backwards. He uses the ropes to somehow remain on his feet… AND THEN CODY BOUNCES BACK WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE OF HIS OWN!!!

Now it’s Cena’s turn to stagger backwards and use the ropes to remain standing. They meet in the centre of the ring again, and Cena lands a right hand. Cena lands a few more and then sends Cody into the ropes. Cena ducks down… BACK BODY DROP!!!

NO!!! CODY CATCHES HIM… CROSS RHODES!!!

CODY ROLLS CENA OVER AND MAKES THE COVER…

WINNERS: CODY RHODES AND JOHN CENA VIA PINFALL at 24:47.

CODY RHODES JUST PINNED THE WWE CHAMPION!!!

In his first match since WrestleMania, where the title was arguably stolen from him, Rhodes is right back where he wants to be.

The amazing reception he has received throughout the night continues, as he celebrates the victory accordingly.

On the outside floor, Cena sits there, hugging his WWE Title, but looking genuinely concerned. Meanwhile, Cody lets Cena know that the title will be coming back around his waist.

And that’s how MITB closes, with Cody victorious, staring down the defeated champion, another chapter between Cena and Cody looking like it’s yet to come…

Back to back wins by default, well done, Roy. 6/11 on the predictions contest for you... I do want to keep this thing moving. Admittedly, with the first week of this BTB being so PPV/PLE heavy, I didn't do a lot of planning beyond the first week. Obviously have some high level stuff, but need to sort out the journey to get there. Most likely, there'll be some posts littered in between shows where my planning identifies new PLE's/PPV
s/Weekly specials which weren't announced when I formed the roster posts for each company. These will be added accordingly.

Anyway, hopefully Raw won't be too far away, and who knows what the next challenge the random event simulator will throw at me, as it's finally time for another one of those now.

For those keeping score, next shows written in full will be the AEW weeklies for week #2 as they are the Summer Blockbuster specials.

Location Added for Saturday Night’s Main Event

When the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event slated for July 12th, was announced, it was done so without a location. It has now been confirmed but much like WWE Evolution the following night, SNME will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. The WWE will be taking over Atlanta for the weekend, with this being the first of two events to take place in State Farm Arena across consecutive nights. Sources close to the WWE say that there is a very specific reason this event has been booked in Atlanta, however that is all that is known at this stage.

WWE Now With Three Events To Counter the AEW All In Weekend
Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution have already been mentioned above, but there’s more for the weekend of July 12th-13th. It seems that during AEW’s All In Weekend, WWE will be going all out (clever right?). It has been announced that on July 12th, NXT will present The Great American Bash. Being a long time WCW event, it’s even more fitting that this event will be taking place at Centre Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.

There was no shortage of things to cover fresh off the Worlds Collide and Money In The Bank weekend. Coming out of an extraordinary twenty four hours, there was no story bigger than former WWE Champion and Smackdown Superstar, Cody Rhodes making a success return to in ring action. Cody opened the show and instead of asking the fans, he told them what he wanted to talk about. He wanted to talk about pinning WWE Champion John Cena for a three count at MITB. Rhodes mentioned how good it felt but let everybody know not to be mistaken. He was determined to get back what was his, he still wanted revenge for it being stolen, and he couldn’t think of a better time to get it back than Night Of Champions in three weeks’ time. Cody was eventually interrupted by John Cena himself, who was all smiles despite the terrible weekend. The champ brought up fans being to occupied with counting down his dates, and Cena finally standing up for himself in his abusive relationship with the fans, they forgot that he was backed by The Rock. Being backed by ‘The Final Boss’ meant there was a very important clause added at the last second to their match at WrestleMania, a “no rematch” clause. Cody was furious as Cena added there was no way he was offering Cody a title shot out of the goodness of his heart, when Raw General Manager Adam Pearce appeared on the titantron. Pearce was on the phone with his counterpart, Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis, and together, they confirmed Cena isn’t bluffing. A desperate Cody interrupted and claimed he’d go through anybody, demanding to be added to the King Of The Ring Tournament, in which both GM’s agreed. Pearce revealed the final brackets would be revealed shortly because the tournament begins tonight before excusing himself. With a smug look on his face, Cena told Cody, “you can work your ass off to be king, it doesn’t matter, because the last real champion is here” … And Cody responded by laying Cena out with the Cross Rhodes! The former champ didn’t get exactly what he wanted, but he’s now at least got a long, tricky path mapped out to get the shot he so desperately craves…

Cody had been entered into the King Of The Ring Tournament, and it wasn’t long, until the official brackets were revealed:

King Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Raw, June 9th, 2025)
Bronson Reed vs. Sami Zayn

The KOTR match scheduled for tonight’s show was Bronson Reed vs. Sami Zayn. After staking his claim for a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity earlier in the night (more on this later), Seth Rollins was confident on his prospects. He told Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman that he was confident that he would be selected to face the winner out of Jey Uso and Gunther tonight. He also talked about their plans for the foreseeable future which included him being the champ, Reed winning King Of The Ring, and Breakker having “some personal business to take care of”. They all are on the same page as the non-competing three than hyped Reed further before his KOTR opportunity later on in the night.

The KOTR Quarter Final match itself was a gruelling seventeen minute affair, and despite being pummelled for a majority of the match, Sami Zayn found a way to beat Bronson Reed with a Roll Up to advance to the KOTR Semi Finals. Reed and Paul Heyman were furious post-match, as Zayn intelligently got out of dodge well he could, one step closer to his goal of a title opportunity.

One of the other major stories coming out of the Money In The Bank PLE was the winners of the respective briefcases. On the men’s side of things, AJ Styles shocked the world and captured the MITB briefcase well into the twilight of his career. Fresh off the big win, AJ was in action again on Raw and was able to continue the momentum as AJ Styles defeated Chad Gable. After a highly competitive match, Styles nailed the Styles Clash to finish Gable off. After the match, Styles held the briefcase high in the air, letting it be known that “the Phenomenal one is back”.

Later on in the night, Jackie Redmond interviewed AJ Styles, and he admitted the last two years of his career have not been that impressive. “In this roller coaster of a world called professional wrestling, there’s ups and down, but over the last two years, I’ve had a lot more downs than I’ve had ups.” He talked about how shocking the world and capturing the briefcase has him reinvigorated and he’s going to slowly work his way into a position where he feels ready to challenge for a championship. Suddenly, the man challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight, Gunther interrupted and arrogantly laughed in AJ’s face. Gunther told AJ, “I hope you’ve got your sights set on Cena and the WWE Title, because I’ll be World Champion after tonight, and you WON’T beat me”. Not appreciating the disrespect, AJ takes a step forward, ready to fight, but Gunther laughed in his face again, dismissed him and then walked away…

Of course, the KOTR was not the only tournament that kicked off on Raw, as the Queen Of The Ring officially started as well. First, the brackets were revealed:

Queen Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Raw, June 9th, 2025)
Asuka vs. Liv Morgan

Queen Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Smackdown, June 13th, 2025)
Alexa Bliss vs. Bianca Belair

Queen Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Raw, June 16th, 2025)
Rhea Ripley vs. Stephanie Vaquer

Queen Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Smackdown, June 20th, 2025)
Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill

Queen Of The Ring Semi Final Match (Raw, June 23rd, 2025)
??? vs. ???

Queen Of The Ring Quarter Final Match (Smackdown, June 27th, 2025)
??? vs. ???

Queen Of The Ring Final (Night Of Champions, June 28th, 2025)

Whilst not in the QOTR tournament, Roxanne felt on top of the world after winning MITB on the weekend. She was jovial, celebrating and showing off the briefcase, as the male members of Judgment Day being WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominic Mystero, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh gushed over her. Tension rose when the WWE Womens Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez appear. Roxanne hurried over to Liv, earnestly seeking her approval, showing the briefcase and telling her she brought the briefcase to Judgment Day. Liv wasn’t impressed, still not accepting Roxanne. Instead, she put her in her place, “Look, I don’t care about you or your little briefcase. What’s important is that I’M going to win the Queen Of The Ring, and when I win and get a title shot, you better just hold onto that briefcase and not do anything stupid.” Roxanne looked upset at the reaction from Liv, who then walks away with Raquel, and Finn told Roxanne not to worry, Liv was just nervous before her big match.

The first Queen Of The Ring Tournament Quarter Final happened right after the above segment. The returning Asuka defeated Liv Morgan after some failed interference from Roxanne. As Raquel distracted the referee, Roxanne got in with her MITB briefcase and swung for the fences, but Asuka ducked, and Roxanne nailed Liv instead. Asuka then threw Roxanne out of the ring and locked in the Asuka Lock. Liv was so dazed and confused after the briefcase shot, all she could do was submit.

Later on in the night, Finn Balor was discussing with Dom Mysterio what he was going to do regarding the situation with all the Luchadores wanting to get him (more on this later). Even Finn admits, the unmasking of Rey Mysterio was awesome, but now what. Finn thinks as the greatest Luchador and Intercontinental Champion of all time that Dom needed to go on the offensive. Dom agreed with Finn, as did JD McDonagh, and then Dom’s eyes lit up as he told them he had an idea. Before he could go into any further detail. Roxanne hurried into the Judgment Day headquarters, closely followed by Liv Morgan and Raquel. Liv was furious, verbally abusing Roxanne for costing her the Queen Of The Ring, whilst all Roxanne can do is apologize. Yet again, Finn tried to play peacemaker, but the drama was clear for all to see…

A video package aired, showing highlights of a former WWE Superstar, before it was announced that Nikki Bella would be returning at WWE Evolution…

Seth Rollins, of course accompanied by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman was out in the ring to get something off his chest relatively early in the show. Initially, with vengeance on his mind, Seth called out Roman Reigns after his interference at MITB cost Seth the briefcase. There is no response though because Roman wasn’t at Raw tonight. Rollins couldn’t help but smirk before he stated, “with that cowardice out the way, let’s discuss what I’m REALLY here for. I want the next shot at the World Heavyweight Championship”. He talked about how nobody deserved it more than him, but then he was interrupted by CM Punk. Punk was surprisingly all smiles as he reminded Rollins that he lost at MITB, meaning he could go at the back of the line. Punk says HE will be the person getting the next title shot. Rollins and Punk’s hatred is clear for all to see as they go back and forth, until Raw General Manager Adam Pearce interrupted before they could come to blows. Pearce talked about taking both men’s arguments into consideration as he deliberated over who will be the next challenger for the World Title. Pearce promised a decision would be made later in the night, but both men would be out of the running if they were to get physical with each other right now. Pearce left, and Punk and Rollins stared each other down, both hating each other, and both wanting the same thing…

Punk and Rollins weren’t the only ones vocal about wanting the World Title, another man who let it be known what his intentions were was Logan Paul. Paul wasn’t at Raw though, he was live from the beach somewhere, wearing a pair of pink polka dot shorts and nothing else. Paul said he couldn’t make it because he had other commitments (Michael Cole: What? A vacation. Come On). Logan made it clear though that he’d be watching for Adam Pearce’s announcement later regarding the World Title. Logan never lost to Jey Uso and deserves a rematch, so he’ll have his eyes on the main event tonight also. He finishes with stating Pearce better make the right call…

After deliberating for most of the night, right before the main event, Adam Pearce appeared on the titantron and announced that title shots should be earned not given. Therefore next week, there would be a huge Over The Top Rope Battle Royal, and the winner will be crowned number one contender…

Our main event saw a WrestleMania rematch with the same result, as Jey Uso successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. They went at it for twenty two minutes, and Jey showed tremendous heart and resilience, outlasting his challenger more than anything. Just to make sure of it, Jey landed three Splashes from the top rope to get the win…

At one point of the night, as our commentary team were discussing Night Of Champions, there was suddenly a commotion. Unexpected intruders jumped over the crowd barricade and stood in front of the announce table. The intruders were in the form of the Latino World Order, Cruz Del Toro, Dragon Lee, and Joaquin Wilde. They weren’t alone though as by their side was Smackdown’s Rey Fenix. The quartet interrupted the show, grabbing microphones and voicing how disgusted and furious they are with Dominic Mysterio for unmasking Rey Mysterio at Worlds Collide. They planned to stick up for their hero and they refused to let the show go on until they got a hold of Dom. They continued to pace around ringside, waiting for Dom, who did not appear, until Raw General Manager Adam Pearce led security down to ringside. He apologised, because he agreed with them in theory, but he had a show to run. The Luchadores were all fired up, but eventually they succumbed to the security guards and were escorted out of the arena. It’s safe to say after his heinous actions from the weekend, Dom Mysterio needs to watch his back…

Footage was revealed the night of Money In The Bank, where WWE Womens Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria approached Bayley. Despite still being the champion, Lyra wasn’t happy with Bayley interfering and ridding her of the opportunity to prove she was the better woman. Lyra looks for an explanation, but the rather non pulsed Bayley just stared past Lyra and eventually walked away…

Still determined to get an answer, WWE Womens Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria was out to the ring on Raw. Similarly to at MITB, yet this time speaking to the fans, she talked about her disappointment in not being able to definitely prove she was the better woman over Becky Lynch. Lyra was quick to call out Bayley on her interference, asking for an explanation, but this time the champ was a little more forceful than she was at MITB. Unfortunately for the champ though, Bayley does not respond to the call out and instead Becky Lynch interrupted. Becky had her own theory, and it involved Lyra being scared of ‘The Man’. Lyra was so scared that she resorted to collusion to save her title, because Becky knows that Bayley and Lyra have always been good friends. “You can put out this act of poor little innocent you being confused, and Bayley suddenly being a mute, but I’m not buying it for one single solitary second”. Valkyria swore it was the truth, but Becky wanted her to admit that she knew without Bayley’s help she would lose last night. Lyra refused, and things got more heated, until they started brawling. The two went at it until agents and referees ran down to keep them at bay…

We also briefly heard from World Tag Team Champions The New Day as they were interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Cathy was curious as to who their next challengers would be, but both Kofi and Woods shrugged. They were as unsure as Cathy, which was concerning them because they were starting to get bored. Being the greatest tag team in WWE history, they need competition but right now, nobody is stepping up. They say it’s up to the teams of Raw to step up and announce themselves as competition…

END.

This week’s NXT commenced with the usual trend of showing different wrestlers arriving to the arena. When the arrival of NXT Champion Oba Femi was captured, he was heinously attacked from behind by Jasper Troy. The newcomer was vicious as he was able to manhandle Femi like nobody before him, beating him up all around the parking lot. To put an exclamation mark on the attack, Troy managed to Chokeslam Femi onto the windshield of a car, sending it shattering into pieces. As Oba moaned in pain, Troy pulled a contract out of his back pocket, announcing that he’d be taking that NXT Title shot tonight…

A little later on in the night, the deadly Jasper Troy was lurking in the back, when he was approached by the NXT General Manager, Ava. She was furious with him for the attack and chewed him out accordingly. Ava went as far as to hold up the title shot contract, saying she should tear it apart and make the contract null and void. At the mention of his title shot being taken away, Troy’s eyes went wide, and he stepped towards Ava. The scary giant backed her into a corner, staring her down, replacing her anger with fear, before he walked away…

In the trainers room, medics were checking on the NXT Champion Oba Femi. Sarah Schreiber was able to drag one medic away from the task at hand, so she could ask about Femi’s medical condition. The doctor made it clear that Femi was in no condition to compete tonight, but just as that was said, Oba Femi rose. Shrugging off medical attention and limping passed Schreiber, Oba yelled out that he would be competing because he is ‘The Ruler’…

Not long before the scheduled main event time, Jasper Troy was approached to answer some questions. Despite Oba Femi’s insistence, there was still a chance that the champion would not be able to defend tonight. The question was asked whether Troy is concerned that the match won’t go ahead tonight. Troy was surprisingly complimentary of the champion as he stated that he knows men like Oba, honourable men who fight for what they believe in. Troy doesn’t believe he’s wasted anything because he knows men like Femi, and he will fight tonight, whether it was the smart or dumb thing to do…

At the Gorilla Position, right before the main event, Jasper Troy was standing, awaiting his entrance, when he was accidentally bumped into by TNA Champion Trick Williams. Trick was immediately flustered, taking a step back as he was trying to escape the myriads of TNA Title challengers that he has (more on this later). Trick tried to maintain his cool, telling Troy he liked his style, and he wished him good luck with his match tonight. Troy chuckled to himself and wished Trick some luck of his own, “good luck with your escape plan, champ”. It was tongue in cheek, and the two share almost a nod of respect after the strange conversation, as Trick Willy then continued on his way…

In arguably the biggest shock in a long time, unannounced on free TV, Jasper Troy defeated Oba Femi to win the NXT Championship. Even after the attack earlier tonight and not being one hundred percent, Femi fought tooth and nail and looked relatively good in the final parts of the match. That was until Trick Williams came from nowhere after a ref bump, and nailed Oba with the TNA Title. With Oba dazed, Troy was able to hit his Swinging Slide Slam and shock the world to become the champion…

As it turned out, maybe there was more than meets the eye to their conversation earlier. New NXT Champion Jasper Troy and TNA Champion Trick Williams stood side by side, celebrating with their titles to end the show. Was this a new powerful alliance in NXT, and if so, who was going to be able to stop them…

In the opening contest of the night, in a match made a few weeks ago, Ethan Page successfully defended the NXT North American Championship against Sean Legacy. Legacy tried hard, but Page was just too good, finishing Legacy off with the Ego’s Edge…

After the match, Ethan Page prolonged his celebration, grabbing a microphone and talking about how this was his second title defence in four days. Before he could brag any further, Page quickly escaped the ring as a fired up Ricky Saints made his return, wielding a steel chair. Page backed away, not wanting any of his long time rival, as Saints rubbed at his throat, not forgetting just who put him out of action, and took his North American Title in the process…

Speaking of championships, the NXT Womens Champion Jacy Jayne wasn’t overly happy tonight. Seemingly feeling the pressure of being the champion, Jayne complained to NXT General Manager Ava that she needed adequate time to prepare for her challenger. She needed to know who it was as soon as possible. Ava reminded the champ of what she said last week, there would be a Triple Threat match tonight, and another next week. The winners of each match would then compete, with the winner of that being Jayne’s first challenger. Ava then announced tonight’s Triple Threat which will be Fallon Henley vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Thea Hail. Jayne’s eyes went particularly wide in panic at the announcement of Grace, as the champ immediately hurried over to the rest of Fatal Influence. She explained to Fallon how important it was for her to win tonight. “You can’t let Jordynne Grace… Or Thea, but especially Grace win tonight. It just can’t happen, alright”. Despite the tough task at hand, and the fear from the champion, Henley looked confident and ready for action…

As soon as the above segment finished, the show cut to the communal women’s locker room, where both Jordynne Grace and Thea Hail were watching the announcement on a monitor. Initially in good spirits, they shake hands and wish each other luck. Neither woman relented from the handshake though, pulling each other closer, as both at the same time tell the other, “I don’t need luck”!...

In the Triple Threat match itself, Jordynne Grace defeated Fallon Henley and Thea Hail to advance to fighting for a Womens Championship opportunity in two weeks’ time. There was plenty of interference from Fatal Influence, which only really focused on preventing Grace from winning, but it wasn’t enough. In the end, Grace landed the Grace Driver on Henley and pinned her for a three count. After the match, Jacy Jayne looked absolutely distraught that she could be closer to defending against Grace, clutching her title tightly as she left the ringside area…

Speaking of the women’s division, a vignette aired showing a gorgeous blonde woman strutting her stuff in elegant evening gowns. Looking every bit upper class, the woman let it be known that she was Blake Monroe, and she would be bringing “glamour to NXT… SOON” …

In match number two in the best of seven series to crown new number one contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championships, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura defeated The High Ryze. Tyson DuPont attempted to get a Roll Up with the tights like last week to secure a 2-0 lead in the series, but this week the tactic was unsuccessful. Having the dirty tactic well scouted, Briggs reversed into a Roll Up on his own, and of course, he was more than happy to hold the tights to secure the victory and level the playing field at 1-1. It was confirmed on commentary that match number three will be next week…

Later on in the night, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura were celebrating their crucial win, when they were confronted by The High Ryze. Tyriek Igwe and Tyson DuPont were furious, and they accused Briggs of blatantly cheating. Briggs looked guilty and Inamura questioned him, but Briggs claimed that wasn’t the point. The point was they got a taste of their own medicine, and Briggs would agree to do the rest by the book if they were. Both teams surprisingly agree there would be no more cheating. The NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank then appear, commending both teams on their performances so far, but letting them know nobody is taking their titles.

Whilst having their focus on their next challengers, Hank and Tank were also in non-title action tonight. In somewhat of a surprise result, Darkstate, Cutler James and Dion Lennox defeated Hank and Tank. In an amazingly display of strength, Lennox was able to get Tank up for the Suplex Powerslam to obtain the shock upset. With this match now in the books, perhaps Hank and Tank have more challengers to worry about…

Backstage, The Culling had a bit of a reset of sorts, with it now being crystal clear that Brooks Jensen was no longer in the group. The leader of the group, Shawn Spears seemed a little perturbed at not being consulted about this. He queried Izzi Dame on why she took it upon herself to do this, and without a second thought, she retorted with, “it was the best thing to do for The Culling”. Spears mulled on that for a few moments, before actually agreeing with Izzi that it was. Izzi then went back to doing whatever it is that she was doing, whilst Spears is deep in thought, still a little uncertain perhaps…

Meanwhile, after a rough night last week, NXT Womens North American Champion Sol Ruca and her tag team partner, Zaria were on much better terms this week. It seemed they had put their differences behind them, as Zaria called out that she would not interfere in Sol’s matches moving forward. With a smirk, she added, “unless you ask me for help”. They laughed it off and got more serious as they travelled through the backstage area, until they come across who they were looking for, Tatum Paxely. Looking as disturbed as ever, playing with her doll, Paxely barely acknowledged their arrival. They both apologised for last week, explaining that they never meant to brush Paxely off, but they were having an argument and needed to sort it out. It doesn’t mean they are not her friend; they are. According to them, it’s Izzi Dame and The Culling who are not her friend. Paxely doesn’t say anything, as Sol put a comforting hand on her arm and just asked Paxely to think about it. After they leave, Izzi Dame appeared around the corner, telling Paxely, “I told you they’d come over here and lie to you” … And it looked like Paxely might be buying what Dame is selling…

After defeating Kelani Jordan thanks to interference from Zaria, Sol Ruca wasn’t happy and had requested a rematch. Sol Ruca defeated Kelani Jordan again tonight. This time there was no interference from Zaria, it was just a Sol Snatcher and Jordan was done…

After the match, Izzi Dame stepped through the curtain, sarcastically applauding Ruca from the stage. It was clear that Dame had her eyes on Ruca and that NXT Womens North American Championship…

Last week, Tony D’Angelo made it clear in no uncertain terms that he didn’t trust Luca Crusifino right now. It turned out Luca wasn’t ready to give up on his ‘boss’. Luca approached Tony and told him that he spoke to Ava, and they have a tag team match next week. Luca isn’t sure who their opponents are, but he will prove to Tony that he’s trustworthy. D’Angelo just shook his head and walked away, not all that interested in teaming with somebody he doesn’t trust…

Last week, Myles Borne earned his freedom and exit from the No Quarter Catch Crew by defeating Charlie Dempsey. Borne was cleaning out his locker, ready to move out of the NQCC locker room, when the remainder of the faction approached him. It was all smiles from the trio remaining in the faction, with Dempsey, Tavion Heights and Wren Sinclair. They all give Borne a hug and wish him luck, but it was clear from the looks on their faces that Tavion was genuine whilst Dempsey was not. Still, Borne thanks them all and wishes them the best of luck before exiting the NQCC locker room for the final time…

We’ve already covered the big hitting item covering the TNA Champion Trick Williams tonight, but right before Trick bumped into Jasper Troy, he had some other concerns. Trick Willy was initially strutting through the backstage area with the TNA Title around his waist, big shotting anybody in the back. Suddenly though, a loud strum of a guitar got his attention, and Trick froze in shock, before turning and coming face to face with TNA’s Elijah. Elijah let Trick know that he’s not in a singing mood tonight. He was unfairly cheated out of that championship on Trick’s shoulder, and he won’t stop until he gets a rematch. Trick shakes his head negatively, when Elijah starts twirling the guitar in his hands, telling Trick, “you know, making music isn’t the only thing I can do with this guitar. There are other ways I can make some hits” … Not liking where this conversation was going, the leader of ‘TrickNA’ began backing down the hallway, looking to get away from Elijah, when he bumps into Joe Hendry. Trick’s eyes went wide with shock and fear, as Hendry kept his cool, simple smiling and waving. A panicked Trick continued on his way until he then came face to face with Mike Santana. Another challenger confronted Williams, and feeling like the walls were caving in, Trick ran off, not looking back. He would continue to run, until he would bump into Jasper Troy, but we’ve already read about that…

END.

Booking Challenge Week #2
NXT got hit for the second week in a row here. The challenge I was set this week was “Two top stars form a partnership”!

It’s probably obvious for those who read NXT that the partnership I’ve went with is Jasper Troy and Trick Williams.

Original plan for was Troy vs. Femi to go to a No Contest, when they both went flying off the stage to end the show. This would lead to a Last Man Standing match at GAB, with Oba defending against Troy.

With the new partnership, I thought about what better way to establish it and make a bang then lean all the way in. So instead, we got Trick helping Troy and now the TNA Champ and the NXT Champ are involved in a partnership that might be the most powerful in wrestling.

Now I need to figure out what the hell I’m doing from here.

Week 1 Booking Challenge – NXT – Book a tag team best of seven series – In Progress with Briggs and Inamura vs. The High Ryze

Week 2 Booking Challenge – NXT – Book two top starts to join forces – Jasper Troy and Trick Williams are now a unit.

Been meaning to get on here to drop by. Almost didn't realize you posted NXT already lol.

I did not have Jasper Troy beating Oba Femi for the NXT Title on my bingo card, but damn, you pulled it off perfectly. I liked that it took all of that beating down on Femi pre-match, then Trick having to help out... and the machine still puts up a valiant effort. Protecting him is the smart move, as I don't think this Jasper Troy run will be too long and Oba will be hot on his trail. Fun booking.

The shock value was great. The ending sounds insane, I can just picture all of the TNA main eventers popping up like a bad funhouse for Trick Williams.

There's a reason you're really good at this BTB thing, and this one NXT episode shows that. I don't even know what's next in the lineup but I'm liking Stojy's world better than the real wrestling world at the moment, and am excited to see how it all continues to unfold.

Thanks for the feedback, mate. Always good to hear from one of my favourites.

Next show is a weekly special, meaning it will be written with full promos/recapped matches (same format as last week's Dynamite was written). As usual, based on it being a special, I'll post a predictions contest for roy to win.

Theatre Of The Clouds At Moda Centre

Singles Match:

‘Hangman’ Adam Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli

1. During the events of Dynamite, one yet to be announced match will be added to this week’s Collision card. What will it be?

If nobody enters the predictions contest, does that mean I win lol? Sorry, literally giving no time for predictions. I'm working from tome today, it's quiet, and I shocked myself and finished Dynamite so just want to post it.

AEW Dynamite – Summer Blockbuster
June 11th, 2025
Portland, Oregon
Theatre Of The Clouds At Moda Centre

We get a different opening to usual in AEW land. Instead of being inside the arena for the pyro display and the ballistic fans, the show opens up in the parking lot. AEW WORLD CHAMPION JON MOXLEY paces back and forth, equipped with a lead pipe. He does not look to be in a good mood, nor do the other DEATH RIDERS, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI, MARINA SHAFIR and WHEELER YUTA.

They are all on high alert, eyes darting, when Moxley barks out some instructions.

Jon Moxley: When that son of a bitch Page gets here, we end him, but only I get to land the killer shot.

As he says this, he eerily twirls the pipe in his hand, and the Death Riders all nod in agreement.

They continue to pace with no sign of Adam Page, when suddenly a stern looking CHRISTOPHER DANIELS approaches. Mox and co do not look happy to see him.

Jon Moxley: What do you want, Daniels?

Christopher Daniels: Look, guys. I understand last week ‘Hangman’ got one over you, and so you want revenge.

The menacing faction takes a step towards Daniels, attempting to intimidate. Daniels doesn’t budge.

Christopher Daniels: You do have the opportunity for retribution tonight, but it has to happen in the ring.

Daniels surveys them to see if they accept his words, but the Death Riders don’t react.

Christopher Daniels: Tonight’s main event, it’s Adam Page vs. Claudio. That’s the time for Claudio to get revenge.

Mox scoffs at Daniels now.

Jon Moxley: If we want to bloody his ass up in the parking lot, that’s what we’ll do.

‘The Fallen Angel’ nods, as if he expected this response.

Christopher Daniels: On behalf of Tony Khan, if you beat up Page before tonight’s main event, or interfere in tonight’s main event, you will be stripped of the AEW Championship.

Shafir clings to the briefcase as the Death Riders are furious. Mox gets right into Daniels’ face now, with Yuta and Claudio getting closer to.

Jon Moxley: Maybe we can’t beat up Hangman tonight, but Tony didn’t say anything about you…

Mox grabs Daniels by the collar, but almost immediately let’s go and looks at his brethren.

Jon Moxley: Let’s go, guys…

And it’s easy now to see why Daniels wasn’t notice, as THE OPPS step into the screenshot. KATSUYORI SHIBATA, POWERHOUSE HOBBS AND SAMOA JOE walk up to stand next to Daniels defiantly.

The Death Riders look furious as they back away, choosing to fight another day…

Match One
Swerve Strickland w/Prince Nana vs. Will Ospreay

These two have had tension building for the past few weeks. Ospreay is one hundred percent behind Adam Page winning the AEW Championship from Jon Moxley, whilst Strickland refuses to help Page. The disagreements have led to these two getting physical with each other on multiple occasions, with Ospreay finally making the challenge to “beat some sense” into Strickland.

Despite the heated nature of their interactions over the past few weeks, these two have a relationship forged out of respect. What that means is that they start things off with a handshake, and the match is wrestled in the spirit of competitions. It’s clean, it’s competitive, and it’s a LONG match, as these two battle for the better part of thirty minutes.

Both men have periods on top, before we transition into the finishing sequence which has both men going ham. Knowing each other so well, both men repeatedly go for their finishers, but the other is able to reverse or avoid. After avoiding The Last Call, Ospreay kicks Swerve in the gut… HOOKING HIM UP FOR THE STORMBREAKER!!!

NO!!! OSPREAY STRUGGLES FREE, SLIPPING DOWN TO THE LEGS OF OSPREAY…

TAKING HIM DOWN…

SWERVE GETS A SMOOTH PRAWN HOLD OUT OF NOWHERE…1…2…3!!!

Winner: Swerve Strickland via pinfall @ 29:07

The fans ERUPT into a massive pop for the win by Strickland, which quickly transitions into a STANDING OVATION. They all realise they witnessed something special here tonight, with these two competitors going to war.

An exhausted Strickland is slow to his feet, getting his hand raised by the referee. Meanwhile, a disappointed Opsreay watches on, slumped in the corner.

Swerve continues to celebrate, until Ospreay approaches him in the centre of the ring, mic in hand. Strickland looks a little uncertain, but puts his hands out, palms up, as if inviting Ospreay to say whatever it is he needs to say.

Will Ospreay: First off, bruv, I hate losing but that was one hell of a match. Congratulations.

Ospreay puts out his hand, offering a handshake. The fans cheer loudly for this, and in no time at all, SWERVE ACCEPTS THE HANDSHAKE!!!

Will Opsreay: Now I know we’ve had our issues recently, and it all stems to your history with Hangman.

The mention of Hangman gets a pop from the fans, but Swerve and Nana don’t look happy.

Will Ospreay: I’m not trying to dismiss that, mate, that’s intense, no doubt about it. What I’m trying to do is ask you to put your differences aside and put the best interests of AEW first.

Big pop from the fans, as Swerve remains unmoved.

Will Ospreay: Moxley and those Death Riders want to kill this place, and we can’t let that happen. AEW is professional wrestling, it’s where the best wrestle.

“AEW” chant from the fans, whilst Ospreay continues to be as passionate as ever.

Will Ospreay: All I’m asking is you help me make sure those Death Riders can’t take out Hangman, or help Moxley retain at All In. Once Hangman wins and the AEW Championship is back in safe hands, you can burn his house down again for all I care.

A flash of emotion comes across Swerve’s face for the reminder.

Will Ospreay: Come on, bruv. What do you say? Do the right thing!

The fans urge Strickland to agree with Ospreay. Nana whispers some inaudible stuff into Swerve’s ear, and finally, after pondering, Swerve puts his hand out, requesting the mic. Ospreay nods, politely handing it over.

Swerve Strickland: Do the right thing huh?

Ospreay nods in agreement, with the fans almost pleading at this point. Swerve strokes his jaw, thinking.

Swerve Strickland: The right thing is subjective…

Ospreay screws up his face, not sure where this is going.

Swerve Strickland: Don’t get it twisted, between you and me, it’s all love…

Swerve offers a fist bump which Ospreay quickly accepts.

Swerve Strickland: But in Swerve’s house, there’s no scenario where doing the right thing means siding with that poor excuse for a human in Adam Page.

MIXED reaction. VERY mixed. Ospreay takes a long blink, feeling dreadful at being rejected again.

Swerve Strickland: So this is where I tap out of this situation. I don’t want to hear about it again; I don’t want to be involved. I’m more than happy for you to fight the valiant fight if that’s what you believe the right thing to do is.

It’s clear by the look on Ospreay’s face that he does.

Swerve Strickland: I guess that’s your journey to All In… Now I don’t even know what it looks like yet, but I’ll have my own journey to get there…

With that, Swerve places the mic on the canvas, and offers another handshake to Ospreay. Once again, Ospreay accepts, and the fans still cheer, but the reaction is a little less. They want Swerve fighting against the Death Riders.

As Swerve and Nana head up the ramp, Ospreay shrugs in the ring, almost telling the fans “I tried my best”.

Once Swerve is through the curtain, Ospreay looks to exit the ring… WHEN OSPREAY IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND!!!

BY THE DEATH RIDERS!!!

JON MOXLEY, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI, WHEELER YUTA AND MARINA SHAFIR
are all in the ring stomping the life out of Ospreay.

The heat is enormous as SHAFIR STARTS USING THE BRIEFCASE TO REPEATEDLY SMASH INTO THE BODY OF OSPREAY!!!

The beating continues… UNTIL SWERVE STRICKLAND SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING!!!

Swerve attempts to make the save, swinging wildly, but with Ospreay exhausted and battered, the DEATH RIDERS ARE ABLE TO MAULT SWERVE AS WELL!!!

Eventually, Swerve just shells up in the corner, trying to absorb as many blows as possible.

Suddenly, Swerve starts getting a bit of room to breathe, because HANGMAN ADAM PAGE IS IN THE RING!!!

The number one contender starts putting in work on the Death Riders, swinging away at anybody that moves.

Page is able to drop Mox, Claudio and Yuta, one by one, allowing Swerve and Ospreay to recover…

AND THEN PAGE IS CHOP BLOCKED FROM BEHIND ON BOTH LEGS…

BY THE YOUNG BUCKS!!!

MATT AND NICHOLAS JACKSON
are in the building and have made quite the SURPRISE by attacking Page. They stomp all over him, allowing the Death Riders to recover.

As the Death Riders start beating on Page, and keeping Ospreay down, the Bucks start stomping the life out of Swerve. It seems he’s the man they are there for.

The attack continues with basic clobbering and stomping, and Mox looks set to use the briefcase again, when…

THE OPPS APPEAR…KATSUYORI SHIBATA, POWERHOUSE HOBBS AND SAMOA JOE ALL SLIDE INTO THE RING!!!

Mox’s eyes go wide in panic as he throws the briefcase back to Shafir, and demands she exit the ring with it.

Shafir does as she’s told but it means for the first time in forever, THE FACES HAVE THE NUMBERS ADVANTAGE!!!

All six man are able to pinball the three Death Riders and two bucks around the ring, eventually throwing each and every one of them to the outside.

The heels are furious on the outside, deciding to fight another day, whilst the faces stand tall inside the ring.

Although The Opps and Ospreay then have to work together to step in between Page and Swerve, the tension still brewing.

Still, the heels are furious at the top of the ramp, with this one most likely far from over…

-COMMERCIALS-

Returning from the break, we’re at the interview set where Renee Paquette is standing by.

Renee Paquette: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the AEW Continental Champion… KAZUCHIKA OKADA!!!

Stepping into shot is the confident KAZUCHIKA OKADA, Continental title around his waist, and a cocky smirk on his face. He looks Renee up and down, awaiting her question.

Renee Paquette: Kazuchika, thanks for your time. Tonight, you’ve requested a match with Masacara Darada, the man who Kenny Omega pinned last week. Why did you request this match?

Okada is slow to respond, taking his time, methodical in everything.

Kazuchika Okada: I asked for this match to send a message.

He adjusts the title around his waist before elaborating further.

Kazuchika Okada: The message will be clear for all to see. I’m going to show Kenny Omega what I’m going to do to him at All In.

Renee raises her eyebrows, looking uncertain as to whether she agrees.

Kazuchika Okada: And as to why I chose Dorada specifically, because I’m guessing that’s your next question.

Paquette nods in affirmation.

Kazuchika Okada: Kenny pinned Darada last week, I’ll beat him this week, and I’ll do it faster than Kenny did to.

Paquette looks confused.

Renee Paquette: I hardly think that’s a fair comparison considering Kenny was competing in a Fatal Four Way with two other men also involved.

Okada smirks and then rips the mic from Paquette’s hands.

Kazuchika Okada: You are here to ask questions, not give opinions.

Owned.

Kazuchika Okada: Kenny, time is money, and tonight I’ll show why I’m the highest paid wrestler in AEW… And I’ll also show why you are nothing… BITCH!!!

Obviously some gasps from the fans for that final insult, as Okada walks away, leaving Paquette to shake her head…

Match Two
Mistico vs. RUSH

These two have themselves a highly competitive match, but realistically, RUSH isn’t doing anything of note at the moment. This is a showcase for Mistico because he’s got bigger fish to fry next week (match with MJF). Both men look impressive but as mentioned, Mistico was never losing this one… AND HE’S EVENTUALLY ABLE TO LOCK IN LA MISTICA!!!

To his credit, RUSH battles hard, but he’s unable to make it to the ropes… RUSH TAPS OUT!!!

Winner: Mistico via submission @ 10:20

It’s a big time pop from the AEW fans, as they cheer loudly for the second babyface victory in a row. Mistico is up and celebrating, ready for the big night in his home country next week when…

***DIG DEEP***

An initial pop which quickly disintegrates into heat can be heard as MAXWELL JACOB FRIEDMAN steps through the curtain. Wearing a nice, sharp navy suit, scarf over the top, the thing most expected from MJF is the mic he carries in his hand.

Mistico has his hands on his hips, shaking his head. He’s not overly pleased that MJF has interrupted his celebration. Of course, MJF doesn’t care, sarcastically applauding.

MJF: Well done, Misty. That was really solid stuff…

Mistico shakes his head, not enjoying the nickname. Admittedly, a few smarks in the crowd attempt to start up a “Misty” chant.

MJF: Oh sorry. You don’t like being called Misty huh? Is amigo better?

More head shaking from Mistico.

MJF: Do you comprende?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

MJF: Well, I tried, but it’d be really beneficial if you could understand English because that’s where we’re going with this.

The former AEW Champ looks like he’s stopped joking around now.

MJF: Mistico, I must admit, beating Rush in the manner you did, making him submit. That’s really impressive. You deserve the adulation from these people for an outstanding performance.

The crowd gives Mistico some more cheers, and MJF actually encourages them… Until he raises a finger in the air.

MJF: But… I’m not Rush…

He shakes his head, emphasising his words.

MJF: I’m the greatest professional wrestler alive today!

Mixed reaction. Some fans agree, most don’t. Mistico certainly doesn’t, once again shaking his head.

MJF: AEW’s latest tagline, the buzz words, “where the best wrestle”, that refers to me.

A little more heat now for MJF.

MJF: So Mistico, next week at Grand Slam Mexico, you’re in for the beating of your life. It’s MJF vs. Mistico… It’s America vs. Mexico… It’s white collar vs… Gardener…

Whoa. That gets huge heat from the fans.

MJF: And make no mistake about it. I will don the red, white and blue to represent my country proudly. And whilst you might not actually be a gardener, that’s just your relatives and ancestors…

Misty storms towards the ropes, pointing menacingly.

MJF: I PROMISE you that the beating I give you next week, when I embarrass you in front of all your family and friends, you’re going to wish you were trimming hedges, vato.

More heat for MJF, as Mistico paces the ring, furious.

MJF: Whoa, whoa, Misty old pal, since you’re so worked up, how about I do you a favour and offer you a taste of what’s coming next week?

The fans cheer loudly as Mistico beckons with both hands for MJF to bring it… AND MJF DROPS THE MIC AND STARTS WALKING DOWN THE RAMP…

BOOM!!!

WHEN MISTICO IS CLOBBERED FROM BEHIND BY SHELTON BENJAMIN!!!

BOBBY LASHLEY isn’t to far behind, and MVP watches on from the outside as THE HURST SYNDICATE beat up Mistico.

Lashley and Shelton just hurl the tired Mistico around with Suplexes, killing time until MJF gets into the ring.

Once he’s inside, MJF has Lashley and Shelton hold Mistico up… and MJF SLAPS HIM IN THE FACE!!!

They don’t let Mistico drop to the floor though, and MJF looks right into the hard camera and yells, “HEY DOM, WATCH THIS”!

MJF walks back over to Mistico, putting a hand over his mask… MJF BEGINS TO RIP THE MASK UP OVER THE CHIN OF MISTICO!!!

UNTIL HOLOGRAM AND KOMANDER MAKE THE SAVE!!!

They slide in, but instead of fighting, MVP opts for his soldiers to exit the ring, so they do.

The two luchas are furious as MVP tells them, “I’LL CHAT TO TONY KHAN… AND THE HURT SYNDICATE WILL BE SEEING YOU TWO IN MEXICO”!!!

Hologram and Komander now begin checking on Mistico, one of their idols no doubt, as we head to a break…

-COMMERCIALS-

Match Three
Kazuchika Okada vs. Mascara Dorada

As close as we’re getting to a squash tonight. Dorada tries hard, using his quickness for a few exciting moments, but this really is the Continental Champion just playing with his opponent. When he’s ready, Okada dominates… BEFORE DRILLING DORADA WITH THE RAINMAKER!!!

Instead of going for the pin, wearing a devilish smirk, Okada methodically drags Dorada back up, before hoisting him high in the air… ONE WINGED ANGEL!!!

Okada is all smiles, sending a message to Kenny Omega by using his finisher. Knowing this is over, OKADA LAZILY LAYS ON DORADA FOR THE COVER…1…2…3!!!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada via pinfall @ 5:39

It’s a pretty laid back celebration from Okada as he stands tall, Continental Title on his shoulder.

He looks at his imaginary watch, knowing he finished off Dorada way faster than Omega did, and mouths “MESSAGE SENT”.

The celebration continues as normal, rather uneventful, with the fans booing the arrogant Japanese wrestler out of the building…

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

***DARKSIDE OF TR***

The fans aren’t happy to see them, but FTR and STOKELY HATHAWAY don’t seem to care that much as they make their way out. They don’t look to be in the best mood, both CASH WHEELER and DAX HARWOOD, and they are interestingly kitted in their wrestling tights, despite not being scheduled for a match.

Hathaway leads them to the ring, as loud mouthed as ever, before grabbing himself a microphone and signalling for their music to be cut.

Stokely Hathaway: We aren’t scheduled to be out here tonight, or to compete for that matter. So we’re out here to correct that injustice.

A smattering of heat from the fans, as all three men remains unimpressed.

Stokely Hathaway: Last week at Fyter Fest, FTR, Cash and Dax, the greatest tag team of all time did what they always do, and that’s take care of business.

Stokely pauses, there’s no real heat, because well, that’s exactly what they did.

Stokely Hathaway: Afterwards, I stood in the middle of this very ring, and I let it be known that my boys were making a challenge to the esteemed, and yes, I use that term loosely, AEW Tag Team Champions, The Hurt Syndicate.

This causes a stir amongst the fans. It’s heel vs. heels but they want to see it.

Stokely Hathaway: My exact words were “Your move, boys”. Yet here we stand one week later, and it’s been nothing but radio silence from our tag champs.

FTR put a finger to their ears, as if listening for the champs. Instead, they just get boos.

Stokely Hathaway: It seems like The Hurt Syndicate might need to change their names to the running scared syndicate.

“Oh my” – Tony Schiavone.

Stokely Hathaway: Nevertheless, we are going to try and give you boys the benefit of the doubt this time. You see, FTR are fans of baseball, so we’ll operate with the three strike policy. This challenge number two, you don’t answer this, that will be strike number two.

They all hold up two fingers to further emphasise the point.

Stokely Hathaway: We’re giving you the opportunity to come to use gracefully and defend those titles with pride. Don’t get a strike three and make us have to force you to defend those titles ag-…

***PARAGON***

FTR are surprised as two thirds of PARAGON, KYLE O’REILLY and RODERICK STRONG interrupt proceedings. Slapping hands with the fans on their way down the ramp, Paragon show no fear in the world, getting straight in the ring. The tension grows with both teams eyeing each other up and down, until Kyle and Roddy get microphones.

Stokely Hathaway: Tread carefully, boys.

Kyle O’Reilly: Yeah, thanks for that warning. We’ll that that into consideration, and then we’ll tell you that we’ll do whatever the hell we want.

BIG pop as Stokely’s eyes go wide in shock.

Roderick Strong: Interrupting long, drawn out speeches, trading verbal barbs, this isn’t really our style.

O’Reilly and Strong nod in agreement.

Roderick Strong: So we just wanted to come out here and make sure we heard right. You’re making a challenge to The Hurt Syndicate right?

FTR nod, confirming, as does Big Stoke.

Kyle O’Reilly: Well, we have a problem with that.

FTR step forward aggressively as Stokely steps back. Strong and Kyle show no fear.

Roderick Strong: I want to put it on the record now that we think what you did to Cope was disgusting. That man is a living legend, he was one of your closest friends, and you took him out, maybe for good.

The heels look proud as punch, tbh.

Kyle O’Reilly: You both look really proud of yourself, but as far as we concerned, that doesn’t earn you a title shot.

Cheers from the fans.

Roderick Strong: And outside of that, you haven’t done much else in a long time!

FTR but especially Stokely are offended by that, as the fans cheer loudly.

Stokely Hathaway: WHAT HAVE YOU TWO DONE? ALL YOU’VE DONE YOUR ENTIRE TIME IN AEW IS CARE FOR YOUR CRIPPLED FRIEND!!!

Whoa. Hathaway spitting that fire. Even the audience gasps, but O’Reilly and Strong take it in their stride.

Kyle O’Reilly: Here’s the thing. We’re not out here demanding and trying to big shot our way into a title shot.

Roderick Strong: We’re out here to ask for an opportunity to earn it.

FTR looks confused and annoyed.

Roderick Strong: Tony Khan… What we suggest is you put us two against these two tonight on Collision and let us show that we deserve a title shot.

Kyle O’Reilly: So you boys can knuckle up and try and cash checks on our broken necks tonight. Or… You can have your midget mouthpiece over here keep bitching and moaning.

Epic pop as Hathaway is losing is but not Dax snatches the mic from Hathaway.

Dax Harwood: Your mouths just got you in trouble, fellas. We’ll see you later tonight.

The fans cheer loudly as the teams continue to stare each other down. On commentary, they announce immediately that Tony Khan has confirmed the match will take place. FTR vs. Paragon on Collision tonight!!!

-COMMERCIALS-

Match Four
‘Hangman’ Adam Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Page is fed up and furious with all the Death Riders attacks, whilst Castagnoli is furious at being barricaded into the locker room during last week’s main event. It means we get a fast and furious main event, with both men trying to seemingly decapitate the other. They go back and forth for a long time, putting on a hell of a main event, but eventually, PAGE IS ABLE TO LAND THE BUCKSHOT LARIAT!!!

PAGE HOOKS THE LEG…1…2…3!!!

Winner: ‘Hangman’ Adam Page via pinfall @ 10:49

After the match, Page celebrates, getting his hand raised by the referee. It’s clear it was a hard fought victory, but Page continues his momentum heading towards All In.

He almost looks down at Castagnoli with a look of appreciation for the match they’ve had… WHEN PAGE IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND!!!

IT’S JON MOXLEY, MARINA SHAFIR AND WHEELER YUTA!!!

AND THEY’VE BROUGHT THE YOUNG BUCKS WITH THEM!!!

Page just starts getting absolutely mauled by the heels, when…

WILL OSPREAY RUNS DOWN TO MAKE THE SAVE!!!

Ospreay fights hard, but is quickly overwhelmed by the numbers, until…

THE OPPS - KATSUYORI SHIBATA, POWERHOUSE HOBBS AND SAMOA JOE ARE NEXT OUT TO JOIN THE FIGHT!!!

Things even up completely, and then despite not wanting anything to do with Page, a furious SWERVE STRICKLAND COMES DOWN!!!

Swerve is hunting The Young Bucks!!!

It’s an all out brawl, the numbers now favouring the faces, but they started off with the disadvantage.

They are working back into the fight. It’s pandemonium inside the arena, no signs of slowing down, when Dynamite fades to black…

COLLISION – UP NEXT!!!

END OF SHOW
