Trust me, I have dealt with this nonsense for over a decade, long before I joined here. I was raised to be nice to others and if someone disagrees with you, respect their beliefs.

Lol I have been dealing with nonsense since the 80s, watching movies and TV shows that do nothing but make fun of gay people and make us seem like freaks. I know what dealing with nonsense is so I can empathize.

But personal attacks are always uncalled for.

Just a point of order. But modern Israelis are not the same peoples as the ancient Hebrew people.

The Palestinians are also in the Bible, as the Philistines, and they were living in the land of the Levant long before the Hebrews conquered their way into dominating that land.

The Hebrews conquered and subjugated the Philistines, just as they were conquered by the Babylonians, the Persians, the Romans, and the Arabs after them.

In the ancient world, might makes right, so Judea ceased being "the land of the Jews" when they were conquered peoples.

I'm an advocate for LGBT rights. Personally I'm not I'm the community, but an ally. People using the F word just makes me want to puke. LGBT people deserve the respect like a normal person like me. Attacks on people for what they believe in is disgusting. Jesus said to love everyone. The bible has anti LGBT themes like saying a man sleeping with another man is an abomination. That was the product of the time and have no affect on my beliefs. Everyone is created equal.

Agreed. If Mitch called him a dumbass or something I would have completely ignored it. That is what we do with each other.

I was doing a nice conversation. Harass me, and you may never know what I would agree with you about. I personally know two people in the community. My nephew is transgender. Female to male. The last time I saw him, it was before his transition. If I see him in the future, I will tell him I still love him. I get pushback from my grandparents supporting him. Also I have a bisexual niece. I love her too. I still see her on occasion and she knows I love her.

My family never tolerated death threats. It is one of the worst things to do to a person. I would call the police if someone sent a death threat. I'm a law abiding citizen, so I wouldn't do that.
