Was this before or after November 2024?
After the elections. I say a few days in office, I realized that he was doing stuff to ruin my life. I want to go to college, but he stopped all federal grants, which I need to go to college as I live in a poor family.

Ya but we need more people on the side of reason so we're gonna also have to mend some bridges for the greater good. The time for partisanship is also over.

Sadly I expect even most of the ones regretting Trump will go back to the status quo in 4 years when a different guy runs for Republicans, even if it's a carbon copy...pending him running for a third term of course

Yeah I'm pretty sure most of those people who voted Trump and regretted it do not have enough wherewithal to not vote Republican if Trump doesn't vote again, because they have been conditioned to accept that all Democrats are bad, and any Republican that allies themselves with Democrats are traitors.

A second federal judge on Thursday extended a block barring the Trump administration from freezing grants and loans potentially totaling trillions of dollars.

U.S. District Court Judge John McConnell in Rhode Island granted the preliminary injunction in the lawsuit filed by nearly two dozen Democratic states after a Trump administration plan for a sweeping pause on federal spending stirred up a wave of confusion and anxiety across the United States.

In his ruling, McConnell said the executive branch was trying to put itself above Congress and by doing so “undermines the distinct constitutional roles of each branch of our government.”

The Republican-led House voted 224 to 198 on Thursday to censure Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) for disrupting President Donald Trump’s remarks during Tuesday’s address to Congress. The resolution accuses Green of “a breach of proper conduct.” Green, in a social media post shared Thursday morning, said he was being punished for “standing up to President Trump.” Meanwhile, Trump plans to sign more executive orders Thursday afternoon. He is expected to issue an order in coming days directing his newly confirmed education secretary to work to close the department she leads. However, shutting down the Education Department, which was a Trump campaign promise, would require an act of Congress.

He said these tariffs would be non-negotiable and after two days of the market crashing they're paused again, what a clown show

  • President Donald Trump said he’s pausing tariffs for Mexican goods and services covered by the North American trade agreement known as USMCA until April 2, after speaking with President Claudia Sheinbaum.
  • Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told CNBC earlier that Trump was considering exemptions on Canadian and Mexican goods covered by the agreement.
  • The White House announced Wednesday it would grant a one-month delay for tariffs on automakers whose cars comply with the USMCA. Lutnick said one-month exemptions for more than just carmakers are likely.

The trade war with Mexico and Canada is ridiculous.
