President Donald Trump said Tuesday he has ordered his administration to raise tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum imports by an additional 25%, bringing the total duties to 50%.

The new policy will go into effect Wednesday morning, Trump said in a Truth Social post that also repeated his calls for Canada to be absorbed into the U.S. as the “Fifty First State.”

Ukraine says it is ready to accept 30-day ceasefire, as US says 'ball now in Russia's court'

Let me take a wild guess how that ceasefire would play out:
- One, maybe two days after it's been declared there will be an ominous "attack" on Russian soil
- Russia says "It was an attack by Ukraine"
- Russia immediately takes a page out of Israel's book on Warmongering and ignores the ceasefire
- US government be like "See, we told you Ukraine was the aggressor the whole time! Ukraine can go to hell, because they pissed on the GREAT ceasefire our beloved leader graciously worked out for those Nazis! Go, Russia, go, make them pay!"
- The invasion continues as if nothing happened, just with a lot of people on both sides being angrier about the other side.
