If it's the same @ that's 100% what happened and nothing nefarious, passing of social media handles has been pretty common since Obama did it for his bc I think he had them first. If it's new accounts with different @ names or the old accounts they had prior then it's a force follow

I saw some folks suggest this. But then noticed they was at the top of their recent followed, which debunked that maybe? But idk. Cause I know I didn’t even follow those accounts when Biden and Harris had them So it’s possible also I suppose
