I wanted TikTok because it helps me with my anxiety, and depression when I’m stressing out about something. It helped me smile during some of the worst years of my life, especially last year which was one of the worst ever. That’s why I was not happy with what was going on.

But if this is the way it goes, and it becomes a right wing narrative app, that won’t be the TikTok that helped me get through a lot of shit the past few years.

True... the media played its part very well. I'm not sure who owns which outlet, but I am sure a lot of them did (or didn't) do what they did consciously all the way through.

I mean the far-right shit like FOX, OAN, Newsmax, yada yada yada, they never had consciouses.

And tbh I doubt any alleged "left-wing" news stations have much morals either. MSNBC, ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC; they all happily lapped up Trump's dick-cheese because it made not only made for perfect rage-bait, they used it to divide the country further.

The death of the FCC Fairness Doctrine was the death of quality news coverage.

Just so incredibly frustrating how so much of this was preventable and no one is willing to do anything to stop it now. We're on Collision course to rapid extinction if you dive into those executive orders. All regulation is going out the window n its drill baby drill.
