No, that was not your point. You stated that Elon Musk was here illegally. I have replied to that post twice. By stating he is currently an illegal immigrant you are either repeating an untruth or are just plain lying. Both the link I sourced and the link you yourself sourced state he is an American citizen. That was what I was commenting on, that you were using incorrect information to bolster your argument. And now in later posts you are trying to move the goalpost and claim the point was not that he is an illegal immigrant (which you claimed) but that he once was. All while never admitting you were wrong in your earlier claim.the point was he was, at one point an illegal immigrant - I am not sure why you feel the need to be this pedantic and act all enlightened lol
he was an illegal immigrant. the fact he is not today because he bent the rule and is rich does not dismiss the fact he took advantage of the rules, broke them and resided in the country illegally. Which means that he is a hypocrite for supporting mass deportation since he is unwilling to give people the same advantage he himself has.
As for your last comment, I have not accused you of being "factually incorrect" , I am subtly accusing you of being a bootlicker
If his mass deportation stance includes the removal of people who have briefly overstayed their student visas after they became void, like he did, then absolutely that is hypocrisy.
So let me see if I understand. You are not stating that what I post in incorrect but that I am a bootlicker for the position I take. But I would assume you don't see yourself as a bootlicker for doing the same thing.
curious
So, if you are not saying my posts are factually incorrect then what I must be posting is true. So, posting factually correct or true posts is bootlicking.
curiouser and curiouser
See, you calling me a bootlicker is nothing more than an ad hominem attack. By labeling me something rather than refuting what I have posted you are trying to lesson any opinion I may present. The sad thing is I have never specifically defended one side or person. I have only ever posted when I believe something has been posted that is untrue or a bastardization of the truth. Like your Musk claim. I even posted that I thought Vice Pres Harris was going to win. For you to claim that I am somehow bootlicking...
we're in a class war, going all AKTCUALLY on some pedantic difference between is and was on a rant post is playing defense for the ruling class - fuck that
Because the difference between is and was significantly changes the strength of the argument. My guess is you knew this when you made your post.
anyways here's your democracy dying in real time https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...tifying-democrat-as-winner-in-top-court-race/
Now this is an interesting article because if actually read one should be able to see points from both sides. The election was won by 734 votes out of 5.5 million cast. 60,000 votes are being questioned. The court has held off declaring a winner until the hearing over these votes is concluded. Makes sense. 60,000 is more then 734 so it could greatly affect the results.
Now, this sounds like I am taking the conservative's side. No, I am only stating what seems to be common sense. Don't declare a winner until you are sure who the winner is. However, where I would argue against this is that the question of the validity of the votes is because small details were not filled in. Specifically, SSNs and DL#s. This to me is ridiculous. When I go to vote I go to the borough hall, tell my name and ward, they find it, compare my signature and then I vote. i have never had my ID asked for or even my registration card, which I carry in my wallet, requested. Thats how easy it should be. I understand that mail in ballets need a little more info but this is ridiculous. If the name matches, the address matches, they are registered and there is no evidence they voted twice then these votes should count. Forgetting a number that really has nothing to do with voting should not cause someone to lose their vote.
And let's be honest, 99% of the time it is Republicans that create these nonsense rules. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly and Justice Riggs is declared the winner.
