The divide needs to stop if we want things to get better.

I mean the crazy divide didn’t really start until Donald Trump’s 2015 run I would argue.

There called parties, and they are more than two actually, just only two really get any attention and recognition. So no, it’s nothing like teams. It’s dumb.

Personally I wish the Green Party got more recognition They generally align more with a lot of left-leaning youth more than the Democratic Party does.

If I had money and influence, I'd start a grassroots party myself too, and call it the "Democratic Regulationist Party".

I don't think either candidate is as bad as they're made out to be. The witch hunts need to stop. The fear mongering needs to stop. Supporting the military industrial complex needs to stop. If only Al Gore won in 2000, the world would be so much netter right now!

Tbh I'm fairly certain at some point the Republican and Democratic parties will splinter off and have smaller parties start taking chunks of their influence.

I feel like it'll be the Republican Party first when the MAGA and more far-right politicians break away from the Establishment Republicans.

Who knows though.

Green party policies I mostly agree with, the politicians that get traction tend to be loonies or obvious grifters tho
