A newly surfaced document has revealed that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and intelligence systems had detailed knowledge of Hamas's plan to raid Israel and kidnap 250 people weeks before the October 7 massacre.

The document, which was compiled in the Gaza Division, outlined Hamas's intentions and was known to top intelligence officials, according to a report by Kan News.

The document, titled "Detailed End-to-End Raid Training," was distributed on September 19, 2023, and described in detail the series of exercises conducted by Hamas's elite units.

In the month since it was attached to the shoreline, the pier has been in service only about 10 days. The rest of the time, it was being repaired after rough seas broke it apart, detached to avoid further damage or paused because of security concerns.

Was having a nice civil discussion about this with someone earlier. I’m not exactly sure how I feel about it, I think kids surely don’t need to be on their phones at school, 100%. But I feel like they should be able to have something in case of an emergency and they need to quickly be in contact with each other.

I feel out of touch with this one honestly bc in my school, they changed policies and became much more relaxed with phones the last couple years which I loved but they had every social media known to man blocked and if you disconnected from the wifi the service was too shit to load lmao I imagine the blocking doesn't work if the service is good enough and everyone has unlimited data but that seems to be a much easier solution to me

As a teacher, I believe the current rules in my school work fine : phones need to be turned off and inside kids' schoolbags. If they ring, confiscate them and the kids can get them back from the monitors at the end of the day. If it happens too often, the parents will be asked to come and get the phone themselves. Usually does the trick, as they're annoyed to have to come after work just for that.
Kids don't need it inside the school, we have all their family's information in case of emergency.
