I never cared for the Eurovision music contest, but after seeing those disgusting protests in Sweden against the Israeli singer (who has to stay in her hotel room in fear of violence), i'm definitely voting for the first time tonight.

They already destroyed the ESC years ago. It's bullshit to dogpile on Eden Golan, of course, but I also don't know what people expected to happen. Israel's participation this year makes the 2024 ESC even more of a complete farce than the last 3-4 editions.

The surveys by The New York Times, Siena College and The Philadelphia Inquirer found that Mr. Trump was ahead among registered voters in a head-to-head matchup against Mr. Biden in five of six key states: Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania. Mr. Biden led among registered voters in only one battleground state, Wisconsin.

The Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has for years overseen a secret police force in Gaza that conducted surveillance on everyday Palestinians and built files on young people, journalists and those who questioned the government, according to intelligence officials and a trove of internal documents reviewed by The New York Times.

The unit, known as the General Security Service, relied on a network of Gaza informants, some of whom reported their own neighbors to the police. People landed in security files for attending protests or publicly criticizing Hamas. In some cases, the records suggest that the authorities followed people to determine if they were carrying on romantic relationships outside marriage.
