It just makes me scratch my head because Russians, especially those in power, tend to be extremely racist so this just reminds me of when Africa was pretty much colonized by European powers, though now it seems to be a race between Russia, China, and certain middle eastern countries

They are only racist towards them as soon as they can't/don't want to use them anymore... but yea. I don't like the odds for most of the planet.
