Yeah, I have known about this for about a week, and honestly speaking it doesn't surprise me. Something happened in The First and Second Chechen War, so it was only a matter of time. As far as suffering goes for the people doing it is hard to tell, but I think a good part will be haunted, I think is the right word to use, by this experience.Yeah there's video going around of Russians decapitating/castrating Ukrainian POWs and it's fucking sickening.
I hope everyone involved suffers horribly for the rest of their lives.
Personal example is my dad who was in The First Chechen War and The Second Chechen War, only for the first half, and he had awful PTSD from the events he saw and all. He tried to "redeem" himself by helping out local Mosque/Muslim families and did a lot of charity work when we came to the states since he thought that would ease his mind and helpfully have God forgive him.
