in the UK, its actually an issue that despite what it looks like on party level. most voter on the right, its actually left voters who are more invested in less people and ethnic selection.

Most Conservatives are more interested in a points based system at some point
Most Labour voters are more focuses on how immigration affects the workforce and the pro and cons of effecting their own interests.

I guess why the left parties have secular? By stricter i mostly mean more responsible vetting n also bans on foreigners buying up real estate. Also not super keen on using cheap labor in house w visas but im not sure thats a uk issue
