N yet you still support this party. Thats the part i find creepy i guess, yhat youve got that much loyalty for a party because its ingrained itself into your self identity. Its something that i just find very weird about american politics, eslecially tge right wing (to the extremes of all the flags n bombast ). As i said, i find treating a political party like a sports team is mega awkward to me. I support policies n ideas but id never alligned myself with any political party that id seld identify as NDp, liberal, PC or otherwise.

I don't even know the current senate makeup rn, how hard would that bill be to pass there assuming all democrats vote yes? It's an election year for some so some fuckhead Democrat might think they'll lose an election in a more rural area if they vote for it tho

I’ll just make one statement back because that last line is the main point. The political parties rarely change their policies and swap ideas. So supporting a policy typically means sticking with one party.

It’ll pass if there’s a vote, but they need 60 to bypass the filibuster. So hopefully there’s 10 republicans in the senate.
