Sure, but that's like saying, "You know, sure, there's Cheddar and American Cheese, but there's also Bleu Cheese!" They aren't anywhere near as popular (read: powerful for political parties).

This was hilarious to me too bc it assumes that everyone that voted third party only did so bc they were dems that didn't like Hilary and there weren't any Republicans that did the same for trump lol

When I think the libertarian guy did WAY better than the green party candidate and I know that's not an exact correlations bc libertarians can lean liberal or conservative but you'd think that green party number would have been significantly higher if people were purposely not voting Hilary that normally vote dem

My main point is that in order for real change to happen it would be better if people would quit voting Demo or Rep, and "establish" a multi-party system instead of the archaic and played out two-party system by voting third parties at a local level and move up the ranks. It is a pipe dream, but that would honestly best the way to start changing things in America given how much of clusterfuck/loyalist it has become.

They’d just be replaced by two different parties that essentially cover the same two poles, more or less.

Humans feel most comfortable in the binary.
