Obviously this is a different context than debate, but I firmly believe that the same applies to politics. If everyone loves what you say, you're probably boring.

It would be a pile of ash already if that was what he wanted. You don't target defense systems and have these firefights all across the country because you want to rule over nothing. Those are things you do to prepare an advance on a key city.

It's in hopes that Kiev means capitulation, but with the experience Ukranian forces have in street combat separatist regions, I very well could see the war raging on with Russia in control of Kiev.

This will damage Russia's economy far more than anything else. Without SWIFT, there is now zero way to do any business West of Ukraine.
