Honestly, the whole SCX gasoline situation was weird because the AAA Gas Price index is public information, and at the moment the national average for gas is $3.57. The highest average price (California) has it at $4.79. Admittedly, yes, in Canada, the average gas price is about $6.70 right now, but... in USD that's only $5.27.
Those prices are mostly contingent on availability and locale as well. Places like Saskatchewan and Newfoundland are pretty fucking remote which drives up the price of gasoline in those areas because it's much harder to deliver there. Long story short, gas prices are fine for the most part, if not slightly exaggerated.
I also am really hoping Moon isn't serious, as I mentioned, he's probably on edge as am I.
